  1. Hey Ryan, good to hear form you Nope, I have not done anything on it, but interestingly enough last week I brought the kit from my work storage cupboard to the house we are renting. I was fondling the parts this very past weekend....you must be psychic!! I am finishing a diorama build for a Star Wars group build and then want to get back to the F40 Fujimi and the Pocher engine at the same time. Lots of work to make it look good, but it can be done! The metal transkits are pricey, I contacted the guys in Germany and you CAN get the full transkit ....$1300 That is a bit too much for me at this point Fire up a WIP or post your updates, love to see what you do with it. Cheers Man, Scott
  2. Finally someone shows Brian Setzer...I was gonna have a fit. I have a Gretsch guitar that I embarrass myself with once in a while when I try to play like him Setzer brought back the big band sound as well. They do some great Christmas songs in this style. Was just watching this U tube video of the classic song Mystery Train the Stray Cats Modified into a tribute song of sorts, never heard it previously
  3. Curse that Ricardo, he doesn't deserve such car.....rope on the door, #$%^*!!! Nice job BTW
  4. That is a really sweet little car Great build!!!
  5. I love it when builders use real materials like this I would test a scrap bit of leather with a mat clear acrylic spray...see if that takes off some shine I like it the way it is!!!
  6. Sweet, thanks for posting that
  7. It is a scale model, right??? No that is a full sized dragster Wait we are on a model forum, it has to be a scale model holy cow that is nice I am going to go lie down for a while and ponder the artistic skills needed to do this
  8. Love it, great imagination and execution. Photography is spot on as well Some fine scratch building...window sills, engine, wheels, rollcage they all go perfectly Must be the kid in me, drawn to these cartoon cars, have a couple in my stash...hard to find and expensive! Hope they reissue more versions
  9. My space is 12x16 with a two car garage as well to spill into for woodworking..overall house is about 4700 including garage They are working hard to get her closed ASAP to avoid the wet weather we get on the West Coast...the snow is smart enough to stay up in the mountains, but boy can it rain here ! I will be crying soon not able to afford the tools I want and working lots to pay for all this debt Keep plugging away at the car, watching you work through things and problem solve is very educational
  10. Ok good, you got it covered and are safe Glad it is sounder than my drill press...sounds terrible when that retaining pin lets go Here is my workshop/hobbyspace in the foreground...little rustic at the moment
  11. I am surprised your drill press can handle that lateral pressure; must be a well made older unit. I blew out a retaining ring/pin on my tabletop Delta and had to do surgery on it couple years ago (thanks to a U Tube video). I was doing far less and working on wood I get e-mails from Stew Mac with all their cool luthier tools I must resist from purchasing.....makes me think of your thread, tools and the guitars in the background Cheers, Scott
  12. Cool stuff, nicely done
  13. Holy shiters, that is a piece of art Done yourself proud with that casting Mike
  14. Superb build, hit it out of the park Gotta love this era of funny cars
  15. Grizzly to the rescue...been to the one in Wash State. Like a kid in a candy store...expensive candy store mind you The precision, accuracy and safety that the table will provide is right up your alley. If you do ever purchase a milling machine I am sure this will come in very handy. I am on a tool purchasing strike, so good to see someone else buy something cool!!!!
  16. Genius for the front ones I was stuck in trying to move the hole control arm complex up. Rears are a little tougher
  17. Ya, I can see what you are having trouble with there..... have to cut the A arms and move them up but you have nothing to put them onto with the way it is moulded Interested in hearing what someone smarter than I can figure out, sorry man
  18. Looks great!!! I know how hard you battled to get her done, good job
  19. Wow, she has seen some miles That is a great job of detailing and weathering
  20. Nice Indian model Is that a pizza on the floor beside it??? For the love of all things holy, what is that on the floor????
  21. I have the same addiction Ed. They are so big and thought has to be given for display So far, I have a F40, Testarossa, Bugatti and two Alfa Romeos.....all Pochers. The first two were bought semi finished and the last three unstarted kits. The new pocher Lamborghini kits are very tempting! Our crappy Canadian dollar has slowed me down from collecting more...so time to start building Scott
  22. She is a big girl.....looks great!!!
  23. Very slick!!! A gorgeous car
