  1. I picked this up yesterday at a car show.I had to buy it,simply because it’s one of the best movies of all time.

Thank you very much.As far as the Petty car,I simply used some real grease, and rubbed it on the car.And as far as the dents,I used a lighter, then pushed in the plastic.
  3. Oh I really like that aqua green(for lack of a better word) pro street 69 Camaro.I will say it sucked, there was supposed to be a car show/swap meet this past Sunday, but Hurricane Henri?? ruined that. The storm just turned out to be a lot of rain.It was definitely NOT a hurricane. But there’s a rain date scheduled for this coming Sunday. So I’ll grab some pics from that show. Some really wild cars come to this show. It’s on the grass in a park like setting..Here’s some other cool rides I’ve seen recently.
  4. Great job.FYI,that was Steven Spielberg’s first movie that he directed.
  5. Very cool,great job.This is mine,along with a little road rash.
  6. Thanks Pappy.I banged it up a little.Petty raced hard.Lol.
  7. So there’s a new show on MotorTrend tv.Steve Magnante shows off his skills on building model cars.Called Super Models.Last nights episode consisted of him building a altered wheel base 67 straight axle Chevelle.I enjoy anything when it comes to watching Steve Magnante.Imo he’s a automobile genius. He just showed the basics,no painting.Looks like it’s going to be a really entertaining show.He also showed off his altered wheel base1:1 Ford Fairmont.Watch it,I’m just not sure what nights it’s on.
  8. Well it’s going to irk me tomorrow. They are calling for a hurricane warning here in NY.And of course it falls out out on one of the biggest car shows of the year. However, they are going to reschedule it till next week.I just hope that there’s not gonna be too much damage, and that everyone stays safe.

  11. Saw these at a couple of local cruise nights. When was the last time you saw a Japanese right hand fire truck?

  14. Dammm pretty sick car!!!
  15. Yea it is possible,I think you might be right.Or it could’ve been a replica.I should’ve asked the owner.
  16. Great Job,Great movie
  17. Oh yea that Mustang was bad ****..It was Just insane. And the Econoline was also insane.Looked like a Hot Wheels car.
  18. This cruise night usually brings in well over 500 cars every week. It’s held at a church, and it’s only a buck to get in,that goes to the church. Here’s some pics. And a picture of my friends drag racing diorama. And all the cars in the diorama are modeled after some real cars that attend the show..
  19. Oh that is sad.I remember listening to him as he announced racing, and auto racing tv shows back in the day.RIP.
  20. Oh man,you really went out of the box with this very cool build.Of course true Ferrari fans would cringe if that was a real car, lol.I like it a lot. Great job…
  21. Oh man if I had a dollar for everyone of these kits I’ve built over the years,I’d be a rich man.Plus the Rick Dobbertin car, which essentially had the same chassis/cage.Are you going to paint it?If not, maybe just clear it.That’s what was cool about these models back in the day, they molded them in the colors the cars were supposed to be,not just plain white,or dull gray, like today’s kits.Nice work…
  22. Oh please,not garlic?lol
