  1. The wheels are Dunlop alloys. Very appropriate for the car’s era. steve
  2. Do you microchip your cats in the US? It’s been introduced to law here in the UK recently. When we had cats, we had them fitted when they came to us as a matter of course, along with the jabs, etc. steve
  3. Radical and extremely well built. steve
  4. Nice score. Back in 1996, I had a drive of a PA that was at the Mexican National Railway Museum in Puebla. During my Mexican trip I also saw the one that was eventually repatriated to the US. steve
  5. That’s a real bummer Les, sorry to hear about it. Hope you’re better soon. We live near York (the original one ?) and that is also a tourist hotspot but I’ve never heard of an incident like yours. steve
  6. Never heard of an equivalent over here. steve
  7. Good luck with that crane Bill. I had an Athearn plastic kit version but I ended up selling it unstarted! steve
  8. In excellent condition for its age. steve
  9. Something I’ve never seen before, a Hudson Hornet 4 door saloon. It was pale yellow with a white roof. Unfortunately I was driving so no pic. ? steve
  10. Back from my latest hearing test, last one 3 years ago. Some slight deterioration in hearing but the big news is a set of new hearing aids. These not only sound louder and clearer but are Bluetooth enabled direct to my iPhone. So I can now be one of those odd people talking to themselves as they walk along. Many thanks to our wonderful NHS and their hard working staff! steve
  11. Well saved. steve
  12. Do these HOAs have legal status? Why can’t you just tell them to go boil their heads? People who own properties in the UK that have what’s called “Listed” status have to follow certain rules but not “ordinary” homes. https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/what-is-designation/listed-buildings/#:~:text=Listing marks and celebrates a,it is to be listed. Never heard of such organisations as HOAs here in the UK. steve
  13. Superb work on both. The Sharknose is my all time favourite F1 car. Was lucky enough to see the replica version in the Ferrari museum some years ago. steve
  14. A very fine piece of work. steve
  15. I had to look that up. Never heard of it before. steve
  16. Nice. Best looking Barracuda to my eyes and your paint job is spot on. steve
  17. It’s not quite a Ford Anglia 105E, as used in the films, but, I think, a Daf Daffodil from The Netherlands. https://www.metropole.nl/en/product/daf-32-daffodil/ steve
  18. Pretty sure that’s the earlier XK120 model. steve
  19. Great work on a highly imaginative project. steve
  20. Nice haul there Bill. I presume you are aware that Piko have recently released a new version of the Krauss Maffei loco? steve
