  2. Good enough here in Yorkshire for me to wear shorts for the first time this year! steve
  3. Love it! An excellent build of my favourite kit. I have 2 in my stash and must get round to starting at least one of them. Would be great if the kit were reissued (again). steve
  4. @Ace-Garageguy From experience, I would be wary of Kadee knock offs. I only use real Kadees these days having had too many failures with copies. steve
  5. The latest “free” wagon (freight car) on rejoining the Bachman Collectors Club, along with card and badge. Usually these wagons don’t fit with my modelling style but this van (boxcar) I think I can actually use. steve
  6. A letter from my old employer saying I had been underpaid on my pension and I was due a modest back payment. Better to have it coming in than going out! steve
  7. David, I’m impressed with your work. I have also built structures for model railway layouts using the same materials, including tiles from the same York company. Looking forward to seeing the finished article. steve PS Your Rolls driver must need a good eye to park in that garage. 😀
  8. Thanks for the clarification @Rob Hall & @Little Timmy In the darkness of the film, I did wonder if it was a Howmet TX gas turbine car. steve
  9. Anybody seen this before? https://www.outdoorrevival.com/instant-articles/homemade-motorhome-made-two-1962-buick-station-wagons.html steve
  10. Must be a few dollars’ worth there. steve
  11. It’s funny how they like draping themselves on the backs of sofas. steve
  12. A PW (MoW in US terms) wagon at a bargain price. steve
  13. Nice model from the car’s best year. steve
  14. I’m also a big fan and would really love a reissue of the ‘big box’ ‘34. The 2 Deuces are just waiting for me to get my act together and build them. The 29A Pickup I built over 40 years ago. steve
  15. I have this kit in my stash that I bought a couple of years ago. They are still around. steve
  16. I’ve done this for my model railway layout. Dismantled, matt varnish and a family added to the interior. The third image is as purchased. It’s called “The Robinsons on holiday “. 😁 steve
