  1. All the Cornerstone buildings are great for kitbashing. I’ve used them on several different layouts in the past. steve
  2. Saab! Any of them. 900, 94, 96, 9-3, 9-5, (any body variants), Sonnetts I, II & III. steve
  3. Nicely done and a great choice of music! steve
  4. What is the answer and who won please? steve
  5. Seen in the local Co-op car park earlier today. Had a chat with the owner and he’s owned it since new. steve
  6. What is the point? Doesn’t it make driving more awkward? Thanks steve
  7. Yup. Fascinating engineering. Check out the later models. steve
  8. Always happy to help Bill. Interesting you found that RMWeb link. I’m on that forum under the handle “steve1”. ? steve
  9. Bill, Could be one of these? steve
  10. I have been using Kadee couplings for years and this tool I have found to be invaluable. https://www.kadee.com/237-coupler-trip-pin-pliers-for-hon3-ho-s-on3-o-scale-couplers steve
  11. On similar lines to @OldTrucker above, it’s 25 years to the day I first met my wife in person after several months of online correspondence. ? steve
  12. Looking for any parts of this kit but especially body & frame. Thanks for looking. steve
  13. Our local York (UK) paper, The Press, is full of simple errors. Leaving of the last words of Is one of their regular mistakes. They have, more than once, printed “space filler” text instead of the predictions in the astrologist’s column. Guess nobody was due for a good one that day… steve (who wrote professionally for a media organisation for 12 years.)
  14. I’m fairly certain that it’s the one in your second photo. Thanks for that. ? steve
  15. Don’t know what this is. It was in a hanger at a local airfield. Early Formula Junior maybe? steve
  16. How do your cats like the heat? steve
  17. That is a perfect example to show why I disposed of my unbuilt kit. I am completely aware of my modelling abilities. steve
  18. What did you think about his mechanical skills Bill? ? steve
  19. Replace the “w” with a “c” maybe? steve
  20. That Indy racer is lovely kit, even if it is, to modern eyes, fairly basic. Very evocative of its era. A million years ago I crosskitted one with a Monogram Drag Strip Hot Rod ‘32. Think it’s still in a box somewhere. I had one (the Indy car) in my stash but let it go as I didn’t think I could do it justice. steve
  21. A stone cold masterpiece. Thanks Bill! steve
