  1. All finished with the chassis, but haven't decided on wheels yet. I have three options... Tim
  2. Nice work, Eric.
  3. Awesome work, Maik! Tim
  4. Joe, you need to fill that reservoir up. lol Nice job! Tim
  5. Great tips, guys! I will definitely use a few different lenses in my next shoot to experiment with. Thanks! Tim
  6. I just build the model the same way as if I was building an actual car, when it comes to cosmetics and paint, ect. My competition is myself I guess, so I just try to get more creative and build a better build than the previous build. It's really neat to see how creative people can be when building their builds, and of course that spawns ideas for other to try and emulate or reproduce. To each their own, I just love building them. Tim
  7. Dominik, it was something different and out of the norm. Tim
  8. I added a few water lines and vacuum hoses. Tim
  9. No clear coat needed on this one and not a ounce of orange peel. Just a light polish to get some of the dust out. I have to apply a light wash in between the panels and that should do it for paint. Tim
  10. Base coat down... Tim
  11. Hope these help, Joe. http://www.angelfire.com/pa3/68imperialcrown/1970challenger.html
  12. Jim, what gauge wire are you using for those springs? Tim
  13. Nice!
  14. Very nice!!!
  15. She is old school... sounds like she likes the man to open the door for her. lol
  16. Nyquil man. lol I don't know how you do it with your dogs. We have a 6 month old baby girl and she sleeps better than your dogs. lol Do you have a doggy door? Tim
  17. Bill, no problem! Something to watch for when you apply E6000; It can get "stringy", so don't use too much. Once you work with it a little, you will figure it out. Tim
  18. One of the tricks I learned on accident was using E6000 glue. It's super adhesive and dries pretty quick, but its almost like rubber and is flexible. This has helped me when lining up the rest of the exhaust where I might need to expand the header in or out, just a tad. The crazy thing about this glue is that if you decide to take it off, just let it dry and pull it off with a pair of tweezers and it usually doesn't rip the paint off. I use it on headers and suspension parts since it is flexible and allows a little give. Might not work for everyone, but it works for me. http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/e-6000-adhesive-511352/ Tim
  19. I think it'd be easier if we just bought these models already put together. Lol. I'm not being a jerk at all, but modifying these builds to China and back are what makes them so fun and addicting. To each their own, I guess, but as long as you enjoy what you are building, that's what counts. Tim
  20. All you Mopar guys want to make me build one. Lol Tim
  21. Thanks, Jim! I'm using your interior as the bar, which is incredible by the way... Although mine won't be anything close to yours, it gives me something to shoot for. Being its a convertible, I have no choice but to detail it a little more. Lol. Still undecided on interior and exterior colors. Tim
  22. I finally got started on my next model. Thanks to Joe (Mustang1989) for the "washing" tip. I'd never tried it before tonight, but I think it makes a huge difference. Sold! Tim
  23. Me too! This one is on my work bench now. Lots of details in there. Great build! Tim
  24. Can you guys post a link to your favorite seat belt source? Thanks! Tim
