  1. Hi and thank you sirs. My 308 build has provided heaps of learning material for me due to having to strip the wheels 4 times and the body 3 times. I even ruined a set of wheels in the process but learning is a painful experience. At any rate hoping to start the Chapy Coupe this weekend.
  2. Hi, I was able to buy a few of Eds kits of his most favorite racing team and all time favorite cars with the plan of building them as a remembrance in his name. I'm finishing up my 308 racer and will start with the Monogram kit shortly.
  3. Hi, Wow, AWESOME tip, many many thanks!!! Man your work looks sooooo nice!!!
  4. Hi, W0W love the pic. The #15 car is in a brilliant blue!
  5. Hi, Ok cool, thanks guys, will do.
  6. Hi, My last experience with decals and flat paint was not so favorable. I noticed slight water stains and was hoping that the community could shed some light on how to successfully apply decals to a flat top coat? Thanks in advance.
  7. Hi, Did you say 458 Tuner? Any pics by chance, sounds intriguing.
  8. Hi, Most certainly I agree 100%. I found PP at Walmart a while back and have been disappointed as I was using SC before. Its sorta hard to find for me.
  9. Hi, No answer for both but at least you can view things for now. Probably download pics you like so they won't be lost to you. But at least you can view this guys wonderful work on the Pantera.
  10. Hi, Last time he was on this board was 2015 which is to bad. Would love to see more of his builds.
  11. Hi, Wow very very nice.
  12. Hi, Yep Purple Power worked in minutes. Thank you.
  13. Hi, Oooo very nice, I like it! I own the US Krōm version. Too bad they didn't kit that version as I would have bought it to build.
  14. Hi, Wow holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH! Well, wouldn't it be cool to do a little bit of scratch building on the 1/24 Fujimi Koenig?
  15. Hi, That's a good point as twin turbo seems the normal setup. Not really 3 turbos which is none the less interesting. And I do have that kit in my stash, it's a beauty!
  16. Hi and thank you sir. I've some Purple Power to try.
  17. Hi, Now that is one sexy BEAST! I bet that would be a top seller as a 1/24 engine.
  18. Hi, Before I ruin my second set of beautiful HRM wheels, I'd like to know the safest method for striping a light coat of Tamiya acrylic from them. Alcohol eats resin as it seems. I have a change of heart in my colors chosen.
  19. Hi, Wow! I've the Yodel version of it. I wonder how different/better Modeler's will be?
  20. Hi, Fantastic and much appreciated info Monsigor Bill. Curious, I couldn't find much but recall reading as a child, about a Porsche having a super charger to help low end and then a turbo to take over for the rest of the RPM band. It was a factory racer of sorts I think. Do you recall this or was I simply high? Judging by the material, it doesn't sound like this would work correctly or as imagined.
  21. Hi, Nice info on the Grex. I think the difference between costly stuff and cheap stuff has been for me, the feel in hand and its longevity. I suppose if you don't AB much, a cheapy will do and makes more financial sense. But after all, this hobby of ours is not about practicality but rather pure enjoyment. So what the hell right, splurge!
  22. Hi, Would any one have pics or further info on the 1/25 Eidai Porsche Carrera 910? Is it simply a 906 re issue? The 2 cars are in fact dimensionally different and am hoping the Eidai 910 reflects this.
  23. Hi, Love it, well done!!!
  24. Hi, Wow cool. What the #11 car about in the framed picture?
