  1. Hi, His Daytona is hot, just perfect. He used a gel pen? Wow that's crazy. I may opt for the decal option then.
  2. Hi and thank you sir. I suspected they were not die cut. Kind of a bummer. How do others get that ring effect? Stencil and brush?
  3. Hi, Has any one used the gold tire rings from IndyCals? Curious on your thoughts. They seem perfect for an upcoming tribute build that I'm planning. The blue ones look great as do the red ones. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi, W0W, this is sooo very very very nice and classy. Just awesome from all angles. Great choices all around.
  5. Hi, Beautiful, build, über pristine. One of my favorite modern Ferraris. I tracked this car for several laps, very very nice!
  6. Hi, W0W, this is an amazing build! Your decal work especially is a touch above perfect.
  7. Hi, Well I think you made a grand decision. You could take it a step further and get the HRM GT40 wheels/tires which look amazing.
  8. Hi, Ooooooo, that's a grand idea, nice! When will you start? Man that's gonna look hawt!
  9. Hi, Wow, looks awesome, nice! Paint looks fantastic. In reality, I think Koenig did a great job until you get a front shot of the bumper. The side and rear profiles looks great. I feel that they kinda fell asleep on the front. Personally I think they should have put on a skirt below the nose as it looks some what incomplete. None of this is your concern though.
  10. Hi, Wow, looks very very clean, authentic and über realistic. Love the diorama as well.
  11. Hi and thank you sir, well put. Like I've said before, he should have named himself EasyEd because he was so easy to like and befriend.
  12. Hi, Yes it doesn't take much for these kits to look great. I mean they sorta already do anyways. I can see why Ed loved his Chaparrals.
  13. Hi, Yes I figured you two were friends as you both share the same forername He had some incredible pics for sure.
  14. Hi, I PM'd you and thank you for the condolences.
  15. Hi, Wow, how very cool! I have this kit as well.
  16. Hi, Very interesting to watch him work.
  17. Hi, Wow, this is a VERY serious build thread, enjoying it a lot. I'm not there yet, perhaps a few years, or decades, maybe.
  18. Hi, Wow, thanks for the photos. Very very cool.
  19. Hi, Nice link, good reading. Thanks man.
  20. Hi, Thanks for the rather informative info Steve and Howard. Man, Chaparral was a cool car outfit for sure.
  21. Hi, Wow, looking super good.
  22. Hi and thank you Bernard and Richard. Makes sense on why I couldn't find anything about a Chaparral car of this sort. Thanks again, good history as well.
  23. Hi, WOW, perfect for Ed indeed. How amazing. Thank you sir.
