  1. With the registration number KAR120C then right? My list goes like this: 1957 Chevrolet Nomad, my first love. 1966 Dodge D100 1960 Tatra 603: A Jensen FF, a car with 4 wheel drive that does not look like it has it. A Peugeot 504 Break, with a Diesel engine and if possible, a column shift I would also like to have my two Mercedes Benz S123s restored and this one should get a new color (I hate white cars) And this one would keep it's color because I really like it: An my 69 VW bug would look like new again: And I would fullfill my plan for my 65 Mercedes Benz 190 and make it a "what-if" Jaguar mkII killer with a 3,5L V8 and luxurious interior. And if money really was no object I would probably buy several other cars aswell, and a huge building to keep them in and also a very nice house for my family.
  2. Great looking wagon, I got the kit myself and it is a gem. I sure wish they made more wagon kits with this much extra parts in them.
  3. Apparently the best you can buy from VAG this days. They always try out the new tech on the Audis and that fail, they start to get it to work when you get it on the VWs but it will still be trouble and by the time they put it on a Skoda it is working perfectly. Note, this is not my opinion or experience but what I have been hearing from people that got them.
  4. Yes, I can see that now. I'm guessing that the car may have been on a truck or some loader or that the gauges are fake/not hooked up because it does not have the look of beign a projection shot.
  5. I have two issues of this boat in my stash, the combo kit with the 65 Chevy step side and the 1971 issue that has been started by someone a long time ago. I do have plans on building one with a MPC Corvette body on it as I found some really cool pictures online that gave me the idea: And here is some of the pictures I found:
  6. Very nice. I have never seen the Avengers but I can surely understand why you liked it
  7. Really cool project, I never knew there was a delivery van version of the Trabant. Your work so far looks really good
  8. Thanks for the tip, I did a search for embossing powder on Ebay and found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ranger-Embossing-Powder-1oz-Jar-Brown-/331329888732?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d24cce1dc May be worth a shot. Thanks for the link, to bad about the insane shippingcharges. I could have been interested in buying it but with that shippingcost it is out of the question.
  9. Do you have any manufacturer names that make embossing powder? All I got is Model car garage. Interesting, do you have a link to that model on Ebay? Today I have been scraping the plastic on the edge of the trunklid with my knife so that it would sit flush with the body. Before I did this it was sticking up quite a lot. As you can see, it now is sitting flush I am taking the chanse that the underside of the car is all white. I have painted the floor, chassis, front and rearsuspension and fueltank in white (the colorbalance on my camera is not set correctly so it appears more yellow in the pics) I have painted the floor inside the cabin in black and added black flockingpowder.
  10. I always thought the van was all black with a red stripe. Must have been because I was 8 when I first saw the show.
  11. I'm back on this one, september is coming up really quickly. So, what color to paint the engine? Chevy engine red? Difficult to tell from the screen grabs what color the engine is in, some of it looks black and there is quite a bit of chrome on the top of it. What sort of color was normal to use on a custom in the mid-70s?
  12. Looks to be grey over the stripe: http://imcdb.org/vehicle_2229-GMC-Vandura-G-1500-1983.html
  13. I would keep it original, fix the rust (cut out and weld in new where needed) and try and do as much myself if money is an issue (if not, just send it away to the best restorers you can find).
  14. And here I found a site where you can buy the Bilek made 1:35 plastic kit: http://www.super-hobby.com/products/UAZ-452-COMAND-CAR.html
  15. I agree that there is a lot of cool stuff in 1:32, 1:35 and 1:43 (and even 1:87) that would be cool to have in 1:24. My sugestion for the Uaz is to search ebay sites in other regions of the world (especially Ebay.de) to see if something can show up. Not necessarily a kit but maybe a plastic toy or something like that. I know that there is a 1:24ish East-German Barkas van as a plastic toy from the old DDR time that I have seen on Ebay.de a few times. Maybe there is also a a UAZ. Here is atleast the UAZ offical website: http://www.uaz.ru/en/ A bit of searching and I found this!! http://armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=183468&page=1 It has been made in to a 1:35 resin kit. And here is a site with some other UAZ models: http://www.mpdiecast.net/models/uaz.html And here is some news about a 1:35 plastic kit http://www.newburyscalemodelclub.org.uk/2010/05/18/bilek/ And here at last is a 1:25 model...in paper... http://criticalpointgame.com/forum/off-topic/model-of-car-uaz-3909/
  16. Scania actually did something similar with their 140,141, 142, 143 and 144 trucks.
  17. This one? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UAZ-452 I'm not sure there is any kits out there but I don't know everything so maybe. It looks like you can get a 1:43 diecast atleast.
  18. They did, it's the one next to the new Revell kit above. Was issued sometime in the 70s with the stock roof still intact so not very easy to come by today.
  19. Thank you very much for the picture of the MPC Bronco parts Chris. I sure have to buy that one and maybe I can make resin copies of the parts. I can understand that it is easy money for mechanics to fix the balljoints if they know the job but I'm guessing that it can also be a real PIA if you have not done it before
  20. Ahh...thank you very much. Looks like a very interesting 4x4 setup.
  21. Anyone got a good image of what the front suspension on a 4x4 F-series from 92-96 should look like?
  22. Nice one, I like it. Old bugs looks good no mather what state of tune they are in.
  23. Number two from the top, is that it? http://www.calnaga.com/Store.html
  24. Yes, a really interesting one. I wonder how it is to drive.
