  1. Haha, now that is cool!!
  2. So what engine block would best fit to make a 5,2 or 5,9? A Cummins straight 6 would be cool but I guess I have to scratchbuild one? A v6 is very tempting aswell.
  3. Love that idea with the mp3 player in the model. That would be great!
  4. That's what I'm wondering aswell.
  5. Yes, the AMT snap version could possibly work
  6. Whatever the scale is, the one that I want to see a kit of is the dinosaur-excavator that Fred is working in in the opening credits of the show. https://youtu.be/gdX6fwfrULI
  7. Thanks for the tips How about a rear bumper, any kits out there have one that looks about right?
  8. Maybe there is some threads on this on the forum before but I take my chanse at starting a new one. I got the Revell Dodge Ram VTS kit (the Amigo pack with the little 1:64 diecast in the box aswell) and when I look at it I feel like I want to build a basic "plain jane" version. Two wheeldrive and short cab and bed with a benchseat. Something like this: But the question is, what engine should a basic one have and from what kit can I get one? And the wheels, is there any stock, plain steelwheels of the correct look out there? When googling, I found this one: http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/sale-wtb-chrysler-dodge-plymouth-eagle/689514-1994-dodge-ram-1500-v6-3-9l-2wd.html Says it has a 3,9L V6 in it so the monster 8L V10 Viper engine will be used for something else I guess
  9. ooohh....I WIP thread on the new pickupkit, great!!! Will follow this closely.
  10. Really cool build of an unusal subject I have always thought that it is a bit strange that you canadians had different models too the americans. You are neighbours and it should be possible to make the same cars in different plants in each country. I guess there must be some politics behind it.
  11. Great looking model
  12. Cool build, I like it
  13. In 2005 I built a hearse from Revells 37 Ford paneltruck: Not so unusual in it self but it is driven by this guy: Called the project "To die For-d"
  14. Really cool build, nice to see one built up as I got the same kit on the shelf my self. I like these wagons and could actually be tempted to byuing a 1:1 scale one.
  15. Wow, really great story and fantastic scratchbuilding skills!!
  16. Ahh....yes, I see that now. Great weathering detailtip there
  17. That Nissan Patrol Safari firefighterthing sure is of interest to me.
  18. That should be a fairly easy conversion.
  19. I will have to buy one of the Toyoda kits, really a cool looking car.
  20. That means that building a model with a roof rack and skis on it would be pointless.... I think that a small winter diorama could be a cool way of displaying the 4L. I sure have to keep that in mind. I just saw some pictures of a verions based on the 4 chassis that also could be a cool modellingproject: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Rodeo
  21. I can only say r.i.p. A true legend has left us.
  22. The recently reissued Revell 77 GMC wrecker truck is a dually.
  23. Translucent steering wheel....nice Love your idea of the Super being a dog carrier. I sure can see that work well. Reading that reminded me of something that is quite off-topic in this thread but I write it here anyway. I got a 1:1 Mercedes W123 estate (well, I got two...) and they had an option that apparently is quite rare and today very sought after and that was a separate heater unit for the luggage compartment. I guess that the actual reason for it was that you also could get extra fold-away seats in the back and maybe the normal heater would struggle to heat up the air in the rear of the car well enough. I guy I know in the Mercedes community commented that it was also a very good dog heater and wondered if it was for dog owners that liked the smell of not only wet dog but hot wet dog
  24. Yes, I don't think they have stopped using them here either. The truck in the photos I took was on that day used to move containers within the harbour and good terminal area.
