Rattle can painting outside

Same here, I only use lacquer model paint from hobby stores or dupli color from Canadian Tire. I heard the full cure time for enamels are like a month -
Rattle can painting outside
Chrischu33 replied to SamBred's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
From my experience in modelling in Canada, I paint outside as well. My suggestion would be as follows 1. If its snowing or there is snow outside that's an automatic no-no 2. Typically I dont care about how cold it gets, as long as its not snowing 3. Once you spray a coat, take it indoors to let it dry inside 4. Of course check the weather forcast and choose a day that is relatively warmer and do all your painting on that day -
Hey there, has anyone here tried plasti dip on their models? I want to try plasti-dipping matte black on the bed of the truck of my next build. Simply because I have ran out of Tamiya matte black and i have some plasti dip lying around

Nice truck, love the matte olive color -
Very well built. I would advise adding on panel lines, otherwise really good job indeed love the red

Nice job. Always wanted to see one of these get built. I want to grab one (actually two) of these and build them matt black as the 'vault chargers' as seen on Fast & Furious 5.

Love the color. We need more JDM here!

This has to be the most interesting build I've seen in a while. Very well done. -
Ah yes....if I knew sooner the hood didn't fit that well I should have sanded it and did a test fit
-
Wow I like that exhaust!! Just completed Revell's Integra, is yours from Fujimi?
-
Don't really know, this is how it fitted when I attached the body on. I don't dare to put too much force to push it down, usually break things when I do
-
There are a few fitting issues that gotta be taken care of, otherwise a pretty solid kit from AMT.

Finished this Revell Integra before I head off to university in a week or so. This kit was really detailed.....got really dizzy after doing the detail work on it. Mods I did include racing seat on driver's side, metal exhaust tip, aftermarket decals, carbon hood, and tinted every single part on the clear part tree. I like tinting stuff.

Finished my first muscle car right when summer started, just when I graduated high school. Pretty much box stock except from some detailing here and there. Thanks for checking it out.
