I reworked the grill, the grill that came originally looked too stock imo
-
After over 4 months of working on it on and off I'm finally calling it done....fitment wasn't the greatest since it's AMT but it wasn't the worst either although I could not get the hood to sit properly. Thanks for checking her out.

looks sick, what did he use to wrap it?
-
zero damns given, i like it

Tamiya kit, modified the front and rear skirts, replaced with aftermarket rims and a fart can. Also added carbon fibre to the hood and trunk, and the center console Thanks for checking it out

Looks great. Can't wait to get one of these although this is not my favourite Mustang as you said I would like it in my collection too.

Hey there, glad it's finally done. Fitting was surprisingly good considering it's revell. Thought I would have issues with the windshield fitting but did not. My goal was to fit those oversized rims but not make it look like a donk. Mods include Fitted oversized rims Lifted suspension and whole car in order to fit the rims Matte graphite grey paintjob Bigger brake discs Rear subwoofer/speakers Chrome trim by BMF Tinted head/tail lights Some decals here and there Carbon Fiber Hood Meshed grille Exhaust tips with heat stain (my favourite part of the car aside from those rims) That's about it. Thanks for checking it out.

Beautiful supra, both the life size and the model. There is a clean af red supra always at my school parking lot. Will take a supra over any supercar any day of the week. JDM rules!!

Where can I get one? Not sure what 45 yr old promo means sorry

May I ask which kit is this? I have always wanted to build a gran torino based on the clint eastwood movie

best looking supercar on the market right now imo. Love the paint
-
that paint looks a mile deep. very well done
-
love the color, last pic looks just like a life-sized car on the driveway
-
It would take me eight hours just to get set up and decide how I want my build to look
-
Nothing to see here, just a boring pickup seen at Walmart. Lifted it a bit, added muffler and seat belts.

I love subies. Yours is very clean well done.

Quick question on clear coating
Chrischu33 replied to Chrischu33's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Don't really get it, and the link is not available in my country -
Hey there, for anyone with experience with future floor polish as there clear coat, do you wetsand the paint coat? Or the future clear coat? For maximum shine. Thanks in advance.
-
Very nice indeed. May I ask what did you use for your clear coat? It looks really deep and shiny.
-
For a second there I thought they were real! Very nicely done, I want to ask, you lay down the decals and clear after, correct? Thank you

Will Tamiya clear melt the basecoat ?
Chrischu33 replied to Timonator's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
my guess is you didnt wait long enough between coats. Wait at least 12 hours between color coat and clear, and once you start clearing, start with a mist coat, wait 15 mins, go back and do a harder coat, and build up to 3 hard coats. then wait 1 week for it to dry and then u can start polishing. -
Nicely done. I would lower it a bit tho, IMO its standing a bit too high up
