  7. Hey Everyone, I have been away for a couple of days. had to take care of some personal stuff. I want to thank everyone that has responded and or posted photos of their work spaces and their model stashes . Like many of you I have worked in much smaller areas. And for my money the work space size does not make quality well built models. It is the person utilizing whatever space they have available. To all of you .Thanks for building and posting your work and sharing your ideas! I like the work that all of you do! be Well Gator
  8. WOW!!!!!!! I like what I see here. looking good Sam. Be Well Gator
  9. Pavel, looks like you have plenty of natural light and a nice work surface. I like your sound system ! That is something I will be getting later on this year. For now I listen music on the laptop. It isn't the best sound quality but it works. And for when I want to be truly left alone to tinker I put on a set of headphones. Be Well Gator
  10. Looking good! Hey go with what you want. Its your model and I think you are doing a fine job on it. And if you have room on the chassis for the upright exhaust. That is cool. Be Well Gator
  11. Hey Sean, Don't look bad to me! And if it works for you. Then that is all that is important. Be Well Marc
  12. Oh yeah! Now that is the way to go! Love them big heavy spoke wheels and nobby tires! Be Well Gator
  13. Hey Guys, I am always curious about where you work on your models. So I will share some photos of my work benches ( past and present) with you. And Hope you will do the same! This is my workbench In The second to the last house I lived in .In the States. This is in the garage. I usually source all my hobby benches from used Office Furniture stores or bargain furniture stores. This particular work bench came with two large metal storage cabinets and a office chair. I paid a total of $300.00 for the lot. The storage cabinets today are at least $200.00 each. I donated the workbench to charity when I moved overseas. For the number of years that I had this unit.It served me well. I will be posting more photos of different set ups later on. Be Well Gator
  14. Picked this up last week at DHL. Kurt had shipped it to my daughter in Florida. And I had it shipped to the Philippines. ( no don't ask what it cost to ship lol) I now have a P.O.Box and I think that will work out well. Anyway, it is one of Kur'ts three axle lowboys. Looks like it will make a good project. Be Well Gator
  15. William, You have this one looking really good now. Are you going to leave the tanks chrome? Or dull cote them ( my choice ) , or paint them silver? Be Well Gator
  16. Terry, I like the modified front bumper , and the set forward axle. You modified dump body looks good. I may do my own version of that on one. Be Well Gator
  17. Pat, You've got this one looking real good .And you are not far from finishing it out. Fo the exhaust. Do you have enough room on the chassis ,to build a mount for it?I like you alclad work. But if it were up to me I would leave it with the weed burner exhaust. Be Well Gator
  18. Dayum!!! That is looking really good!! Be Well Gator

  23. David, I love the work you are doing on this trailer. But I think I would have a very difficult time dealing with and handling/assembling some of the minute parts you are able to make.Any idea of how much you will charge for one of these trailer kits? Be Well Gator
  24. Hmmm , That kit looks like it builds up real nice. And your model is a good example of that. Be Well Gator
