  1. Pat, Do you ever get the feeling . That sometimes you are just not supposed to work on your models??? Broken windshield, smudged window................ What forces are at work here??? Lol Hey guy I am sure you will get things squared away in short order. Be Well Gator
  2. X's 2 for sure! crazy ??? hell yes. What's the point? Stroking someones ego because the made a record breaking jump of a truck that was not meant to fly?? What is the world coming to? lol Now back to our regularly scheduled drivel. Be Well Gator
  3. Looking good thus far! I like the orange and black. Good color combo. Be Well Gator
  4. Ray, Interesting approach to building a 40 footer! You did a good job on the kitbash. Your body work looks good from here. Be Well Gator

  6. Thanks Justin Glad you like my work. I actually got a look at this one last night. It seems to have survived multiple moves in pretty decent shape. Hope to get it out soon and get some new photos with the new lowboy from Double Take Replicas. Looks good , I like the older I.H. trucks Thanks for the compliments.I like the older trucks as well . And that is mostly what I try to build. Looks good Gator . I like the door decals did you do them your self ? Thanks for the compliments. No the door decals were done for me a long time ago by Adam of Model Truck Mafia. I just talked with him about maybe doing some more decals. But he is no longer printing decals. Thanks for the compliments guys. Be Well Gator
  7. Nice job on the build! I like your idea for the tires, but I agree with the others the tires are a bit small. You did a real nice job on this one! Be Well Gator
  8. Darren, It has been a while since I checked up on this build. You are really going to town on it. You creativity is amazing ! I like this build, but I like the stripper truck better! Be Well Gator
  9. Wow1 What a neat idea for a build! I love it. Too bad you can't go on a real time research trip! lol A thought for a dio, A couple of 1/25th motor cycles and biker figures near the stripper truck! This would be a good idea real time for Daytona Bike Week! Be Well Gator
  10. Christopher, I like what you've done thus far. The motor and chassis looks pretty good. Be Well Gator
  11. Ken, Really nice job you did on this one. I really like your wheels and tires ( yes I am old school in that respect). And your work on the rear body, considering what you had to work with, was really good. And thanks for posting the extra pics! Be Well Gator
  12. Now that really looks the part! great job on the weathering. Be Well Gator

  19. Great looking weathering! And yes I did like the way you originally built it.You can see where you put a lot of work into it. Though my personal taste is for more standard wheels and tires. Be Well Gator
  20. Dave, Thanks for your comments. i think I will leave the intake grill like it is. I like it better that way! I have a few more of the Paystar 5000's to build yet I may correct that on those builds. Be Well Gator Yes Terry I certainly agree with you. That rebuilding a model can be more fun than the first build. And you can correct the things you missed. Be Well Gator Thanks Dennis! I may not get into the finite and super accurate details, but I do try to build a clean model. And have fun while doing it! Be Well Gator
  21. Be Well Gator Brian, I started building the truck models in 1970. And have drifted in and out of active building. But I did manage to build up a fair sized stash. Now that I am retired and living in the Philippines.I am glad I brought all of my model stuff over here. And hope to get back into building real soon.Currently working on painting and fixing cabinets and storage lockers.Once that is done i can get the work bench set up and start to repair some of the older builds, that got damaged in the moves. Glad you came back to the hobby! Keep with it. It is good therapy and all that. Be Well Gator Thanks Dennis. It was a fun build that I did while on mid nights. I used to get a lot of models built while on that shift. As I would stay up all night on my nights off. Be Well Gator
  22. I remember this one from the other forum. I hope the damage wasn't too bad. Terry, I don't think the damage on this one is too bad. I know the rear mudflap came off, and most likely the cab mirrors . And it needs tag. Thanks for remembering this one. Be Well Gator
  23. This truck was built in the mid nineties, It is box stock except for the headache rack from RNK. This rig belongs to Gator trucking flatbed division. Comments welcome Be Well Gator
