Looks really good what you're doing. I'm watching the build.. Here's one that I picked up at a model show about 20 yrs ago. It was already built and I think I paid 2 bucks for it. I would like to build another one in white as Barney Oldfield raced - eventually!! ( as you can see this one full of dust from sitting on a shelf )

The 8C-2900 is an outstanding looking car and my favorite of course is Ralph Lauren's. I might even try this one eventually Keep us updated on this
