One of the first real cars I worked on was a Maserati Birdcgae. That was 20 yrs ago and seeing your great build just brought back some fun memories. Really nice build and great setting too for the pics!!

I drew this in 1999 for a friend who actually ran a 356 Porsche repair/restoration shop in Burbank, Ca called "Markham Motor Works". I knew he was an old drag racer from days gone by at Lions Drag Strip with his Ranchero, and I thought I would surprise him with my version of a drag car of the Porsche's he works on. Unfortunately, I don't have the original but managed to snap a crappy pic of it before I gave it to him 15 yrs ago. I just found it in an old box and thought I would share it > > ( I always wanted to build the model ) Hope you guys like it …….enjoy

I recently uncovered some old drawings from the 70's and 80's from a car magazine collection that I have had for over 40 yrs. When you have thousands of magazines, things tend to get lost between the pages. Here's one that a friend did for me in '83. I was a young guy drag racing so he thought I would like this. I need to find the ones I did ...

It's beautiful!!!!! Brings back memories for me because when I turned 16 and was able to drive, my car was a '66 Chevelle in red/burgundy color.
