What a great and beautiful build you did here!!!!! I worked on this car many time preparing it for the shows. It actually has real gold ground up and mixed in the paint - about 3oz's to be exact. It's a wonderful story and resurrection. Gary just called me a couple weeks ago to come over and prep it for a museum exhibit. I've been very fortunate to work on many great cars in my career and I'm excited to see some builds on this forum that builders are doing of some of these cars. I work on the actual Jack Warner car every month. I've been taking care of it for the last 11 years. If you need any detailed photos of the car, let me know and I can always shoot some pics when I'm there. Here we are when we took "1st in class" at Pebble Beach". I have collected several several of these old kits over the yrs. Thought I would build one "box stock" to see how they go together. Something a little different!!! These bicycles were built in the 1880's

Cool car!!!!! … A close friend of mine built the cars for the movie. He told me he built 17 total for the show. Supposed to go see him this weekend.

I'm not sure compared to the Funny cars. But, Fuel Altereds were always scary to watch and still are today!!! Thanks for the compliment and will try and get going a little more on this. Need to do some headers and blue windows etc ...

UPDATE > Thought to get a couple pics this morn with the body off. As you can see, still lots to do. I have several projects going at the same time but will try and get on this one some more soon.

I recently had lunch with Hugh and what a fun time we had. Lots of great stories and a super nice guy. He took me over to his house and showed me his museum of artifacts covering the walls. Here's the car in the garage. Nice to see you building this and it's looking great!!!! Looking forward to the finished car..

I built this about 15 years ago and just found it in an old box. I had to dust it off a little and put a cable back on. I believe this was an Imex kit that I decided to chop down and give it my own look. Hope it's ok to post motorcycles here..( I have a few built ) I'm pretty new here and sure love this club!!!!! Thx
