  1. Very well done.
  2. Work in light coast and you will be fine. Just let those decals dry very well.
  3. Yes. I go light coast about 15 min a part if your using Tamiya clear. It works well over decals. Let the decals dry really good. I wait about a week. This is a 43rd with the body painted to coats of clear left too dry for four days , decals applied and left too dry for a week, then two more coast of clear.
  4. I would use light coats.
  5. The kit is the BBR. It is the Daytona verison.
  6. I finally got a chance to make some progress in finishing this kit. I feel like this kit hates me. I dropped it twice. Once off the paint stand breaking part off the front off. The second time I dropped it the air box hoop came off and I lost the down bars. I had to remake the bars. I think that I'm going to weather the car.
  7. Very cool and well done. I know some off these are a pain to build.
  8. Very well done.
  9. This is clear orange over gold. I had to work in light coats to build up the orange. I taped the body all together before painting it. On the Enzo in some spots you see the color on the backside ov the panelpanel
  10. There is a good book on Amazon on this car. It covers just about all of them. I think I paid less them $10.00 for it. It has a bunch of good pictures in it.
  11. Here are a few updated pictures of my progress . The color is Tamiya Italian red. Sprayed in two light coats with one heavy one. No gloss has been applied yet. I will give it a coat of Tamiya gloss just to even out the decals. The kit is a BBR and is all box stock.
  12. I know I wish they were all done in 24th. The selection is so much better
  13. Here are two I did a while back
  14. Thanks everyone!!!! It's a great kit to build
  15. Very nice!!!! And it's not red. Love the grey. Great job
  16. PMA made them in 43rd scale a while back. I know of at least 10different verisons of the cars. Ma models makes them now,but there kits are very rough
  17. Just a quick update on my progress. All the body parts are in white primer and fitted to the body. The body in the rear was widen too let the wing support slide in too the body. Wing was added just for the photo.
  18. I've been in the 43rd kick. Had this in my stash . It's a BBR kit. They make great stuff and are easy to build if you ever wanted to do a 43rd kit.
  19. This is the wonderful Tamiya kit. The kit is very well thought out on how it goes together . The colors are Tamiya AS series paint. AS-19 is the body color. It's intermediate blue( us navy) the interior main color is TS-68 wooden deck tan. The body is glossed with Testors wet look clear. The interior plaid decals are from Scale Motorsports. The wheels were ordered from Model builders warehouse. (Rep &min. Wheel set) engine detail was done with various wire from different places. Mainly the bottom of my parts box. I had to use my I-pad for photos .
  20. Have you gone to Hobby Lobby or Micheals? Look in the bead section. There is all kinds of thin wire. Even some with a bit of braid to it.
  21. Silver Foxx thanks for the tip on the decals. I have a few more. I'm gonna try it. Be on the look out for a 911.
  22. That's the set that I used.
  23. This is painted with AS spray with Testors one coat gloss. The gloss was done in two light coats and two heavier ones
  24. This has been an on an off project as I don't build May street cars. I've been building it on and off between other kits. It's the Tamiya kit with some some motor detail. The rims and tires came from Model builders warehouse. Great service from them. Hope too have it finished in the next day or two.
  25. Thanks guys!!
