Wash the body with warm water and Dawn dish soap. I use this for all my resin projects. I use a old toothbrush to scrub the parts. Small stuff I just wash in the palm of my hand. You can strip off the old primer with this paint remover. Stuff works awesome
These are all decals that I've done. There all done using the Scale Motorsports decals and some setting solution. The fxx-k nose is one pcs. All you have to do is make a template . You can really make them go anywhere.
Back to building the 1/20 MFH Indycar of Alonso. This is a curbside kit. Body color is Tamiya with Tamiya clear over top. The carbon decals are Scale Motorsports and the new Tamiya ones. I used the Tamiya ones on the suspension arms. They dry with a gloss to them. They have a very good weave pattern to them. Tires come printed from MFH on both sides. A nice touch. Wheel backs had carbon added as well.
Well done.. Love at the detail work that you have done. I saw one of these when I was in Monaco . It was finished in blue carbon. Can't wait to see it finished
Just met John at the Philly NNL. A great guy and a good selection of kits at great prices . Hope to stop at his shop on the way to the Pens game next month.
Thanks everyone!!!! The kit is the Fujumi base kit. This model has a resin body on it. A friend of mine had made some a while back. The model was at the Philly show today , as well with my black one that I did.
