  1. I posted this in the Big Boys section ,but wanted to share here as well. I just working on the massive Ford GT kit in 12th . The kit is very well done and the rear fenders are separate units too make the painting of the body easier. Very well done on there part. This is a curbside kit with little engine detail. The interior is well done which I will be adding too. Wires a few more boxes and of corse carbon. Just received 8 sheets from Scale Motorsports today in 20th scale. The 12th looks to big. Chassis is two parts that screw together with four screws. The body has the stripe scribed in to make masking easier and straight. Paint will be gravity in the correct colors.
  2. I just started working on the massive Ford GT GTE from MFH. This is my first 12th scale car that I've ever built. The kit is a curbside kit with some interior detail. My plan is too add some more detail to the interior with lines and cables. Carbon fiber from Scale Motorsports just arrived today. I'm using 20th scale carbon as the 12th looked to big in the pattern. The kit has been molded with the rear fenders off , too make painting easier. The back has just been mocked on for fit. Chassis is two parts that screw together with four small screws. Paint will be Gravity in the correct color match. The stripe line has been pre scribed too make taping a breeze

    Audi A4 DTM

Great looking build...well done!! I wish revell did more of these cars.
  4. The picture I posted shows the distributor . The spark plug wires pass though the bar on the side of the valve cover. They then split to the plugs see photo above from post
  5. Looks very nice.. Well done
  6. Here is one I did. Maybe some of these would help. I hope you font mind the photos
  7. My birthday was a few days ago and this nice big present showed up. It's the first 1/12 scale that I've built. The kit is the new Model Factory Hiro kit. What a great gift from the family. MFH has done the molding spot on, even the rear fenders are separate pieces too make the masking and painting easier. I'm building my fxx-k ( see post in this area) and this in between. There is no flash on the car at all. The only thing needed is some lines for the interior. Window nets are printed on fabric. Tires are preprinted and rubber . Stay tuned!!! Going to build it post race
  8. I started this about two months ago but got sidetracked with travel and work.. The kit is the Tamiya kit with the Hobby Design trans kit and Studio 27 decals. I haven't decided on a color yet , it will not be red. This is my progress so far as I have a bigger project that I'm waiting to start after this.
  9. Outstanding!!!!! Well done
  10. That looks really good
  11. No..no info on the company. There's not an email either. They are very nicely done. They had a few different teams.
  12. These are the ones that I have. 1/24th scale. I never used anything from them before. If interested send me a pm.
  13. I think I may have a sheet I bought at the NNL east. Will check when I return home tomorrow.
  14. I order from them about once every three months. Never had a problem with an order or never had an email unanswered.
  15. Great looking build. Very nice
  16. Very nice great job!
  17. The doors do not work. They give you the option of closed or open. There is a fixed hinge that you have to glue to the back of the door to keep it open. Engine cover doesn't open either. Has good detail for what is there. I made the engine cover and the light bar with carbon decals.
  18. Thanks everyone. Dubai has some cool police cars. If you want a fun build try one. Studio27 makes all the kits. Mclaren (new revell kit). Merc. Benz. Gt ( revell kit) mustang gt and camaro. ( revell kits)
  19. I saw a picture of this car on the internet and when Studio 27 came out with the decals and light bar kit,it was a no brainer. The kit is the Fujimi Aventador LP 700-4 . The kit is fantastic . Has all the photo-etch and a sheet of laser printed details( dash face ,wheels logos and the side badges) The trans kit is from Studio27. They make the kits for all the different cars. I added a few carbon details here and there. Scale Motorsports carbon was used. A fun build and something different for the shelf.
  20. I've bought a bunch of kits and supplies from Amazon. They have came from a vender from overseas. The box is marked model kit or model supplies on the custom tag. I never had to pay more than what I was billed at time of purchase. I've always got the box or boxes quickly.
  21. I just hope the next kit is the Acura gt3.....
  22. Profile 24 is doing that vette in 1/24th
  23. Mine is anything I don't have to paint....the more decals the better
  24. The kit will be good for the aftermarket as well. I'm still surprised that no company has done the mclaren p1 street car. Still will be a curbside kit .
