  1. Decals lay down really well. I used the red label micro sol. I apply it with a chisel tip paint brush . This way it's easy to work the decal into the body line or panel lines. I don't put clear over them because they are stickers on a race car. Now most of them are printed body wraps.
  2. I finished this one a few weeks back and just wanted to show a few pictures. Here is a list of the stuff used 430 challenge kit Hobby Design detail set. Well worth the money. Scale Motorsports carbon decals Tamiya dtm kit tires for the slicks. Kit comes with street tires. Why? Don't know Tamiya paints.
  3. I will start looking through my pictures I have. I use the Tamiya dtm car kit slicks for my challenge cars. They seem to have a good profile. He is one I just did. Yours is off to a great start.
  4. Very nice. Like the weathering
  5. This is the hardest one to find. I have this one , but did the shark nose graphic one instead. The rear under tray is the italian flag. I'll look to see if I can find all the photos I have on it. Great start, can't wait too see it finished
  6. The interior is just about complete. All that is needed is the drivers side bars and top halo. The cage is very toy like and has big mounting points. All most like donuts.
  7. That customer in Virginia must get a bunch of paint. That was what they told me.
  8. Looks really good. Great job!
  9. Paint it dk. Blue with a lighter blue interior and the carbon trim . The kit builds and looks great when done.
  10. Just started the interior on this kit. It really lacks detail and builds toy like. Even though you won't really see anything I just can't leave it plain without some sort of detailing. The dash and air box are just mocked up for the photo.
  11. I had the same problem when they had there Black Friday sale. I received the paint two months later after a bunch of emails. I was told it was processed as well. I feel your pain on this problem. I really don't order from them that much anymore.
  12. I'm using the carrera wheels off of there c7r. I ordered them at a little slot car shop by my house. They ordered them from carrera . I had to wait about 2wks to get them. You just have to get the gear off of the one axle.
  13. Back to decals again.!!! At this point all the body is wrapped. I'm starting to work on the a pillars and lower rear of the car. More pictures to follow
  14. I feel your pain...... It cost them just as much to model it wrong as it does right. I don't get it
  15. I've been following yours Ismael. Awesome work,,, you have my respect, cause the kit is terrible. The photos I've been looking at are pretty close to the kit body. I had to remove the wart on the roof. The test car front and side skirts match the kit close enough. The wheels suck, I ordered 1/24 carrera slot car wheels for there vette. Much nicer. I have to put in the glass to make sure the rear window wasn't covered and it would not fit. The windows were twisted. I had to cut them a part. He is an update photo. Had a half day at work
  16. Just a few quick shots of my new project. I love doing full body wrapped decals. I felt the yellow version of this car will be done a few times. There are some great builds on this forum now of that car,so I wanted something different . These are some of the best decals that I ever used. My hats off to Matthew at Scale Motorsports. They are thin and lay down fantastic with there decal set. I will post the progress of the car .
  17. I order just about all my kits from Europe or japan even china. I have been dealing with Hobby Easy a lot . Never had any problems. Most of them tag the parcel "a gift or toy" so they don't get held up and or taxed. I ordered 4 1/12 scale hiro kits at one time. No issues I also have a small separate bank account for ordering. This way if there is ever a hack or an issue I can just dump the account with out no other problems.
  18. Spoke too Matthew at Scale Motorsports the other day. The parts are in QC review and if everything looks good the kit will be ready in mid March.
  19. The decals look good, just waiting to see what else you get for the price. I hope new brakes and wheels. The kit wheels the spokes are to thick. The aero needs to changed for 2016 car. Front , sides and the rear.
  20. I've use them for touching up decals every now and them. If you get a chip or a small crack. They mix well.
  21. I had a snow day today in the east.,so I was able to work on my Ferrari again. All it needs is the mirrors put on it and a bit of weathering. The kit builds well , the rear bulkhead needs to be sanded a bit. I don't know why they didn't take out the rear def. I used the kit one because I was being lazy and didn't feel like making a new one. The tires in the kit go in the trash, the kit has threaded tires. Ever challenge car I've seen has always came with slicks or had rain tires on because of the race. All in all a very nice kit.
  22. Great looking car!,, nice to see some Super GT stuff.
  23. Thanks for the info. Cheers
  24. I'm heading from Poland to Munich on wed. Any good shops there for models? Thanks for any help
