Thanks for the heads up on the local.on the shifter. I may pull it out and fill the hole and repaint it. I just need to see if I have a kit that has a good one in it. I'm looking for a good picture of where the seat beats good on the seat and where they pass though.

That looks really good Alex. Great job, really like the color you choose. -
Thanks for all the kinds words everyone...it’s been a labor of love.. thought it was gonna be a lawn dart a few times. Here is a update photo , lm working on the interior bucket and getting it to fit in the frame rails even. The seats are metal as well. I scribed the lines a bit deeper. The only resin part in the chassis so far is the interior bucket . It has some weight too it

Here are the pictures from earlier and a few new ones. The drive shaft didn’t fit at all. I had to cut it in half and glue it back together. After drying I put some putty on it to smooth out the seam. The heads were drilled out and the headers fitted with the side pipes. The finish on them is the way they came out of the magnetic tumbler. Gonna kill me to paint them black. I started on the seats as well. They had a few sink holes in them and a nasty side seam. Tomorrow I hope to be able to fit the motor in and get into the interior more.

Sorry about that. I couldn’t find it. I will continue on the first posting.

I finally got the chance to start building again after a short break. Seems like “life happens” all at the same time. I was able to get the suspension mounted and the motor detailing started. Working on getting the drive shaft to fit. Way too long to fit. I cut it in half and shortened it up. These are just some quick progress pictures. Interior bucket has been sprayed with Matt black. The kit does lack some detail and as mentioned before nothing fits all that well.

Off to a great start Alex. I feel your pain on nothing fits good. I'm building the 289 cobra kit. I'm tired of drill holes and re bending and shaping all the parts. One plus is I used a magnetic tumbler to clean up the white metal parts. Your Ferrai should look outstanding when done.

Really cool. Great job !

I found this in my stash when I was looking for something else. I needed a break from my other projects. I'm using the Top-Studio detail kit to go with the bike. Which I forgot that I had bought and found it in the bottom of the box. The carbon is from Scale Motorsports. Paint and washes are all by Tamiya.

Look a lot better than the stock 812. -
John ..I'm with you on that one. I usually don't clear over them when I only have one set. Those graphics on the real car are stickers. So they would have no clear on them.

Whoa....that looks really good. Well done John. The black paint is spot on. These kits are fun to build and look great when done. Great job!!

I found these a while back. They are from a company in England . Super thin decals. It's all door numbers . The company is FFSMC productions. They have a bunch of challenge decals

Well done ..love the white with matching wheels.
