  1. I've got a set that I bought years ago that I think were made by you and they still look pretty awesome. They've been on the truck so long that the rubber tires cracked up and collapsed.

  3. These are the new 22.5 wheels and tires from Scenes Unlimited. These are excellent! They come with separate lugs, hubs and rear drums. Steer tires and drive tires are available as well. Service is fast with shipping notification and tracking info as well.
  4. Thanks Kerry, but there's plenty. Thanks so much! Thanks Sam, but it is a little harder to bend. Thanks Ken! Thanks Tom! I would have liked to have done some more detail, but I decided it was time to be done with this one. I start out with big ambitions but get tired along the way. Thanks Tom! Thanks Casey! Thanks Larry! I'm afraid to try to start it because I don't want it to leak oil on that shiny alpine green paint. Thanks Ken! Thanks so much!
  5. Ken, this is a top notch build all the way around! You have a way of capturing that vintage look. Great work!!
  6. Your builds are always amazingly realistic! This one is no exception. Top notch work!!
  7. Very nice Pat! Will there be a truck to go with it?
  8. That is a great looking build! The wheels make a huge improvement!
  9. An E? That is good to know! I was going by the last price sheet that he sent me. I'll be getting one of those!
  10. Thanks Jeff! Thanks Dave! Yes, Food Lion was started as Food Town by Ralph Ketner right here on Innes Street in Salisbury. Thanks so much! Thanks Kerry! I keep coming back too and finding all the flaws. Thanks Jim! Thanks so much Chris! Thanks Sam!! Thanks Warren!!

  14. Looks Great! I like the new tanks!!
  15. This one began with a cab from A.I.T.M., the tanks came from Dave as well. The engine is a 6-71 Detroit from Gary Wallace. The transmission is a 5 speed. The tires are from KJ at Double Take. The frame, wheels, front axle, and front springs are from the R-Model. (I know that Brockway didn't use Mack front axles, but it is what I had.) Rear suspension is the walking beam from the AMT Ford LN8000 tractor. The drive axles are from an IH 4200. Glad Hands are from Shapeways. There are numerous parts from the parts box. The decals are from an old Nascar kit a just a little smaller than the ones on the 1:1.
  16. Thanks! That's how I remember them too. I've been wanting to build one for a long time now. I was going to build a F-Model until I found a picture of a Brockway. The decals are from a Nascar kit and just a little small, but it'll do. Thanks again to everyone who has commented. This one is going "Under Glass."
  17. Thanks for the comments guys! I've got a little more progress done on this one. It's not perfect, but coming along.
  18. Looks great! Great reason to build as well! Great work!!
  19. I'll be watching this one and taking notes. I've got a B-61 planned for the future myself.
  20. Very nice work! Very original! Looks great!
