  4. Thanks for the comments guys!! Slowly making progress. I separated the grill from the nose piece. There is a gap on the 1:1. 5. I like the colors! Going to look great!
  6. I can't see clear enough to tell, but it looks like a 12v-92TT Detroit. The 92's differed from the 71's in that the 92's had 4 heads and 4 valve covers while still having a single block. The exhaust configuration and it looks like there may be two valve covers on this side makes me think that it is probably a 92 series 12 cylinder Detroit. If that is what this is, I would sure like to hear it run! It also looks like there is a Detroit decal on the end of the hood similar to my avatar which is on the side of a Peterbilt hood.
  7. Thanks for the encouragement guys!! I have a little more done on the frame now. Fitting the engine and radiator. Doing a little work to the cab as well. IMG_3451 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_3453 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_3452 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_3454 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  8. WOW!!! The decal is really going to finish this one!! Looks great!! It makes me want to build one!
  9. Looks Awesome!!! This was a great idea!! Great work!!!
  10. I switched to Flickr a year ago because PB was very slow for me. "So far" Flickr has been great.
  11. I'm looking forward to this project!! I've been planning a R700 custom similar to this truck, but not exactly like this one. I have a hood for a later model R700 that I picked up from Spaulding Trading and Shipping, but the only early model one like this one that I personally have ever seen comes cab and all from A.I.T.M.. The hood could be removed from the cab though to make it open. A.I.T.M. also has a sleeper that is very similar as well. Looking forward to seeing more!!! I've always liked this truck!
  12. I'm pretty sure North Carolina still uses fuel stickers on trucks that do not travel out of state instead of IFTA.
  13. Looks Great!! Nice Work!! I like the color!!
  14. Looking great!! I really like the trucks. They've been my favorite kits since I was a kid.
  15. It was a least 15 years ago when I built this one, possibly more like 20. 100_0828 by Brian Smith, on Flickr 100_0829 by Brian Smith, on Flickr 100_0831 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
