  1. The sleeper looks great!! Was that chrome vinyl self adhesive? I bought some once at an R/C shop (about 15 years ago) thinking that it was adhesive and it wasn't. I never tried to find any more.
  2. Nice work! I like the choice of steel wheels!
  3. Get in touch with Alan Hilton. He's the one that oversees the swap meet at the civic center. They had a club at one time, but I'm not sure if they meet anymore. Welcome to the forum neighbor.
  4. Thanks for all of the very kind words guys!! While taking a break from sanding, I made the drivers seat. It started out as the seat from the Prowler kit.
  5. Cool project!! Great work on the door!
  6. I wish that I had your skills!! Looking Great!!
  7. Glad to hear it! I noticed that not all of mine dulled. Maybe, I got a bad can or something.
  8. I really like the way this one is looking!! Great work!!
  9. This is really my kind of truck! My only complaint is that I don't have one to build (L.O.L.). I've always been a fan of the Brockways. They were built for work! You are sure doing a great job on this one! I really like the yellow!!!
  10. Thanks for the very kind words; Terry, Michael, Dennis, Tom, Gino, and Angel!! You guys have really been an encouragement!! Thanks for the complements Rob, but looking at that nice looking Diamond Reo of yours, a white flag can only mean that your in the lead on the last lap. Thanks for the encouragement Sam! The plan is to paint the cab yellow. The real question is to stripe or not to stripe. I like stripes, but almost always have trouble with bleed through on the edges. I will probably paint it solid yellow to avoid another set back.
  11. You're very welcome! They look Great!
  12. Thanks Sam! Truthfully, I'm ready for it to be finished. Update, It's starting to look like a truck. Primer coat is a little rough (it's 80 degrees and humid), but sanding will fix that. All the rough spots in the body shine like Christmas tree lights now.
  13. Very interesting! My kind of build! What are you using for the radiator? Are those zip ties?
  14. This is going to be a cool build!! It looks great so far! I always like your trademark orange.
  15. Working on making some new doors now. Another trial and error process. L.O.L.
  16. Thanks Dennis!! Those valves are one of the first things that I've tried that came out right the first time. Thanks for the kind words Terry! I'm not sure that I'd call it a masterpiece though. I have been inspired by great builders such as yourself though. Thanks Randy! We'll be praying for you on your tests. Thanks Michael!! Not quite as fantastic as your project. Thanks Gator, but if you knew how many times I've looked at this truck and said; "I Quit", you would probably get a good laugh. This has been a learning experience for me, and most things have not gone right the first time. Thanks Gino!! Your builds are top notch as well! Thanks Dan for the kind words! Your builds have been an inspiration to me.
  17. Looking Great!! This is going to be one sharp dump truck!
  18. WOW!!! I've wanted to build a stainless Great Dane. The only problem that I see, is that I need some of those wheels and tires. Looking great!! True Craftsmanship.
