  1. Very interesting! My kind of build! What are you using for the radiator? Are those zip ties?
  2. This is going to be a cool build!! It looks great so far! I always like your trademark orange.
  3. Working on making some new doors now. Another trial and error process. L.O.L.
  4. Thanks Dennis!! Those valves are one of the first things that I've tried that came out right the first time. Thanks for the kind words Terry! I'm not sure that I'd call it a masterpiece though. I have been inspired by great builders such as yourself though. Thanks Randy! We'll be praying for you on your tests. Thanks Michael!! Not quite as fantastic as your project. Thanks Gator, but if you knew how many times I've looked at this truck and said; "I Quit", you would probably get a good laugh. This has been a learning experience for me, and most things have not gone right the first time. Thanks Gino!! Your builds are top notch as well! Thanks Dan for the kind words! Your builds have been an inspiration to me.
  5. Looking Great!! This is going to be one sharp dump truck!
  6. WOW!!! I've wanted to build a stainless Great Dane. The only problem that I see, is that I need some of those wheels and tires. Looking great!! True Craftsmanship.
  7. Looking great with some paint!! Excellent work!!
  8. Excellent Work!! I like the diamond plate, it really looks great. The mud flaps are a nice touch as well. Probably the best 4 door conversion that I've seen.
  9. Nice Collection!! Great job capturing several of the T.V. show's vehicles!
  10. Very nice build!! I've always liked a stepside Chevrolet.
  11. Looks Great! Makes me start singing the theme song: "Well I never spent much time in school...."
  12. Excellent Work! Top notch weathering!!
  13. Very Nice builds!!! Super coil is a nice touch!
  14. Excellent Work!! Two Sharp looking Chevrolets!!
  15. I really like what you've come up with! Great Work!!
  16. Thanks for the kind words: Terry, Gator, Gino, Dennis, Michael, and Dan!! I've just about got the rolling chassis finished. I focused on finishing it first, so that I could put it to the side and not handle it any more than I had to. This truck is getting heavy, and with the long frame rails it is pretty springy. Most of the chassis plumbing is done. Fuel sender and lines installed: Fuel crossover and valves made: Throttle Made: Pogo stick made and deck cleared:
  17. Looking great Dan! On that chrome paint, that is what I painted my pipes on my Mack with. It looked great for a few weeks, but then it lost it's shine. The pipes were not handled other than lightly dusting them off with a soft brush. Maybe it was just my luck or maybe a bad can, but it looks like dull aluminum now, which is fine for my pipes, but I though that I would share my experience in hopes of it helping you or someone else to avoid a future problem or maybe getting input from others who have used this paint. Again, Great work!!
  18. Now that's going to be a truck!! Looking Great!!
  19. Looking forward to seeing those pictures.
  20. Very cool project! I would hate to get the bill for a complete new set of tires. L.O.L.
  21. Wow!! I like the colors!!
  22. I like it!! Great job on the weathering!! Very convincing and not over done.
  23. Very Cool build!! I am a tractor nut too. I've seen quite a few of these over the years and you've nailed it. It makes me want to build one. Great work. As far a spark control goes, I had a 1936 W-30 McCormick that the lever was broken on. I just had to get off of the tractor to move the lever on the magneto. It's wasn't convenient, but it worked.
