  1. Very nice! Excellent work on the fabrication!!
  2. This thing is incredible!! Craftsmanship at its best!
  3. Very nice! The weathering looks great!!
  4. Very nice! I like what you have done with the wheels!
  5. X2 I just have to add.. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! The Crackerbox is awesome, but that Ford is simply incredible. I'm afraid that I need one of those!!
  6. Tony, Jan, Gergo, and Gino: Thanks so much for the kind words! Harry: Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm kind of partial to old jacked up 4x4's, we built a few 1:1's back in the day. I always wanted to put a Detroit in one and this was way cheaper. (L.O.L.) Dan: Thanks for the kind words! We had some snow and ice a couple of weeks ago and I thought that I would try some snow pictures. I'm pretty satisfied with how they turned out. Clayton: Thanks so much for the encouragement during the entire build!
  7. Very cool build!! I like the weathering!!
  8. Just received 2 sets of 8v-92 valve covers from Double Take. They arrived incredibly fast and they look incredible too! Thanks KJ!!! I would highly recommend these!!
  9. Terry, I'm impressed with the amount of work that you are doing on this cab. I bought a resin Bullnose KW years ago from Spaulding. I was very disappointed however when it arrived. The grill bars were crooked, the panels across the front were not straight, etc. It just sat in the box in the basement for years. I finally sold it on Ebay about 8-10 years ago. I don't think that I could pull off the extensive work that you are doing. I'm sure that this is going to be good!! I can't wait to see more!! When that Freightliner gets cast, I'm afraid that I might need one.
  10. I don't even know what color I'm going to use and you're already painting. Guess I've got a lot of catching up to do (L.O.L.). The paint really looks great!! I can't wait to see more!! Nice color by the way!
  11. Looking good Sean, but I think that you may be right about the tanks. This is supposed to be the main truck from the movie as it looks today This is supposed to be the restored short tank truck from the movie. It does look like that the tanks are not below the air tanks on both, but it also looks like either the tanks sit a little higher, or the battery box may sit a little lower. Regardless of a slight difference in the tanks, when you finish this one, I'm sure it will be a convincing Rubber Duck.
  12. Very nice build so far! Excellent subject choice!!
  13. For Sure!! Thanks Clayton!! This has inspired a lot of cool builds!!
  14. Looking very nice indeed!! I too like those tanks!
  15. Looking Good!!! Looks like some cool projects in the background as well.
  16. Very Cool Build! I like it very much!!! Is that a 300 Farmall in the background?
  17. Wow! It looks just like the real thing!!
  18. Thanks for the comments guys! Kevin: The Joe Mustang truck was one of the inspirations for this build. That truck had a 264" wheelbase, and I think that mine is going to be around a 275" wheelbase.
  19. This truck build off has been a great thing! We are getting to see some excellent projects coming together, and this is one of them. This has always been one of my favorite trucks, and you are doing an excellent job with this one. Great work!!!
  20. Just had a great trade with "Modlbldr". Would recommend and would trade again.
  21. It's kind of crude mock up, but you can get the idea of how its going to look.
  22. Sam: Thanks! The frame rails are made by GW Trucks. I picked them up from Sourkraut's. Terry: Thanks! I hope it turn out well.
  23. Gator: Thanks for the encouragement! I didn't think that I wanted to cut up a resin kit either, but here I am. Sean: The cases come from Hobby Lobby. With a 40% coupon, they are less than $15.00. The rotary phone is still functional, but doesn't work on the new phone service that AT&T installed last year.
