  1. Wow! Looks Great! Makes me want one!
  2. Nice build!! Even better collection!! Welcome to the forum.
  3. Welcome to the forum Stan, from someone else from North Carolina,
  4. This one is going to be nice! Great Work!! If I may ask, what did you use to cut open the doors? I usually use the backside of a hobby knife on styrene, but with the thickness of resin, I haven't tried. I was going to leave the doors alone on my H model, but if you and Sam are opening doors, I might have to reconsider and get with the program (LOL). My doors won't be suicide though.
  5. Looking Great! The paint job is spot on!
  6. Thanks for the info Harry.
  7. Slow progress. Haven't had much bench time. Grill is installed, windshield is in, some foil work done (I hate foil work!!).
  8. OK, I knew that there were 4 trucks, but after Harry's posts I'm am confused about the surviving truck. Which truck was used in the Incredible Hulk episode: "Never Give an Trucker an Even Break", and also in the David Lee Roth video? I thought that was the surviving truck and was the truck used in the added Duel movie scenes.
  9. The short hood 379 has a slope similar to the 378. Tim Ahlborn shows how to convert one, either on this website or on his website. You can scribe a line, or if I remember correctly, Tim shows cutting the hood to make it actually multi-piece.
  10. The paint looks great! Nice Build!! I can't believe that I missed this one!!
  11. Looking Good!! Nice touch with the steering wheel knob!
  12. So is it going to be a 378 or 379? Just curious. A short hood 379 would be a cool build. Cool project either way! Looking forward to more.
  13. I watched Star Wars at the drive in, and the Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in the theater when they came out and was a big fan. The following three movies took several times of watching them before they grew on me. This last one was a good movie, but to me it just doesn't seem to fit well, and continue the former story. It was almost more of a loose copy of the original story. Maybe after about 3 or 4 more times of watching it, it too will grow on me. I was expecting a little more. Regardless, Disney is racking in the money.
  14. TJ, I don't know where your at in North Carolina, but around here, you can pick up a decent guitar at a Pawn Shop pretty often. You need to feel the action on it in person, like several have already said. Some Pawn Shops are hard to deal with, and will not let you tune the guitar up to standard. Without it being close to standard, you wont get an accurate feel for it. Another thing that you might try after purchasing your guitar is using light gauge strings until your fingers get used to cording the guitar.
  15. Just got another package myself. Very fast service, and excellent quality!
  16. Great project! Just recently finished a Diamond Reo myself. I like these old trucks!
  17. Wow!!! First of all, I can hardly believe the progress on this cab! If I would have tried to covert a K100 into a Diamond Reo Royal it would end up looking like a cabover Pacer. You have really captured this one! I like the added oil filters to the Cummins as well. It is a nice touch. It also looks to me like you corrected the heads or at least the valve covers as well, an even better touch!
  18. Excellent subject choice!!! My kind of build!! Excellent Work!!
  19. Cool Project! Looking forward to seeing more!
