Nice clean build! Nice work!

Depending on the resin. I have found that soaking in bleach white (usually overnight), then scrubbing with a cleaning powder like Comet and a toothbrush is the only way to get paint to stick on some resin, especially what I call “milk jug” resin (white almost clear).

I have one of these that I had hoped to build a replica of the truck that hauled the original engine for Tweetsie Railroad back in the 50s, but it is going to take so much work to get it right that I haven’t attempted it yet. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do with this one!

We put the old lint in a can separate from the garbage for later disposal. A ball of the old lint seems to lift stuck lint right off without any problems.
