Since you are looking for 1-3 ton trucks, I am assuming that you are not looking for a pickup bed style truck. If that is the case the only thing that you will probably find in straight kit form in 1/24 or 1/25 scale as far as American trucks go will be the C cab Ford. However if you were to kitbash and even source aftermarket resin suppliers, then you have several options. The Ford Louisville kit may could be modified into what you are looking for. If you are interested in 1/35 scale, there are probably more options among the military stuff. This was made from the Orange Blossom Special kit. Although I made a road tractor, you could make a straight truck. This one was made with a resin cab and help from the 50 Ford pickup kit, along with some extra parts. This one was made with a resin cab, Lindberg Dodge truck kit and Louisville dump bed. Although not offered in one kit and one box, you have several options. Check out Dave at A.I.T.M. for some resin options.

Big Rig/Trailer question
DRIPTROIT 71 replied to Sledsel's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I think that the problem may partially be that different tires are in different releases of the Freightliner and probably the trailer too. I am pretty sure that the last Freightliner that I built had what I call the “Ertl Style” Goodyears. They are a little wider than the rest, not including the Dodge tires. I think that the Round 2 remade these in a universal version with the intention of them working on both the 20” and 22” rims. These tires do not have a center to has needs to be removed. Since they are made to fit both, they fit loosely on the DM 600 20” wheels. Basically there were 20” and 22” rims in the AMT kits. I didn’t get one to measure, but I am pretty sure that the Freightliner has the 22” wheels. I don’t think that I have a lowboy to see what size wheels it has, but if it has 20” wheels, you may have a release with the universal tires that don’t fit well. AMT offered a few variations of tires; Goodyear, Uniroyal, and firestone, some vinyl, some two piece hard plastic. I think the sizes were 10:00 20, 11:00 20 and I think 11:00 22. For vintage trailers, I like kit tires. They are straight tread and often have little tread. Aftermarket suppliers are great too. The Scenes Unlimited tires are great, but the ones that fit his spoke wheels are a little closer to 24”. You may also use a set of the Round 2 rereleased kit tires. -

If it wouldn’t have been for the stuffed cow on the dash, I would have guessed Berna, but I found another picture of this truck with the same cow.? Thank you so much for these truck quizzes that you have done! I learned a little bit along the way.

Looks great! I like the weathering! I like how you dealt with the panel under the grill, making it a different color as if it was a replacement from an older model. Nice work!
