  1. Those look good. The toy wheels are a pet peeve of mine also. Nice solution.
  2. I had some very old decals that were disintegrating when I tried to apply them. I decided to try something and it worked pretty good. I shot a coat of dulcote over them, Let it dry, and tried them again. No silvering and they laid down nicely. Hopefully this helps someone. Mike.
  3. 50's on the back, 75's on the front, shackles, straight duals with cherry bombs! Oh yeah 1981.
  4. Perfect (Not sarcasm) . Well said Ron.
  5. Morgan Freeman was asked in an interview what he thought was the best way to stop racism. His answer was "Stop talking about it." Probably a good fix fix some other problems too. He's a smart man.
  6. That looks good.
  7. H.O. scale high octane? I have a ton of track, buildings , and dio stuff. My kids lost interest and I kinda did too. Was looking at it yesterday. That's what got me thinking about it. I'm about ready to put it all on eBay. I just don't know if I have the heart to yet.
  8. How many out there have a train hobby also?
  9. I'd love to have one of those just to have it. Cool stuff!!!
  10. Where you from? I'm in Kent.
  11. Exactly. Trying to fill and sand the details back in is tough and in my opinion unnecessary if they would just supply the kit with a template. With a light sanding and primer the ghosting is not too bad bad still unnecessary.
  12. Just saying. I hate trying to fill it and sometimes it shows through on the top.
  13. I like the AMT b-body kits, however I really wish they would stop casting the hood cut out into the hoods. Why can't they just give you a template instead?
  14. I don't think solvents would be the issue. I've seen similar sprayers, even used one once, they're made to be used with brake and carburetor cleaners, which are very hot solvents. some of the ingredients in those are the same as what's in plastic cements. I would be more inclined to think the problem with using paints in them would be a clogging issue from the solids that are in the paint. Good point. Cleaning it may be a pain. Discharge, empty, add cleaner, blow through, discharge, etc.
  15. You could use an air chuck with a gauge, or just put a little in at a time and check it with a tire pressure gauge. I think the no paint or primer is because the solvents would eat the plastic dip tube. You could probably shoot acrylics with no problem. Just make sure you let all the pressure out before running cleaner through it.
  16. Excellent build. Super clean and nice details. Build on!!!
  17. Very cool!!
  18. How do you make something that nice and botch that? Jeez!!!
  19. Just wanted to update my list without some great traders getting lost in the shuffle. Mods feel free to delete my previous posts on this thread. Every one of these guys have been excellent in every aspect. Communication, representation, and shipping . I look forward to further dealings with all of them. Here goes. ims329 High octane AFX 64SS350 bismarck gardnerpag44 fiatboy I'm sure there will be others. Thanks to all, Mike.
  20. Testors model master line has all the cool Mopar colors. Hobby lobby caries them. Probably others also.
  21. Thanks Shaun. Fitment does seem a little off.
  22. Did a quick mock up. Dulcote did the trick on the interior.
  23. For some reason I really want the Johan 60 Plymouth wagon.
  24. Pretty happy with this interior. Gonna give it a shot of dulcote to tone down the gloss. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied.
