  1. I suspect that whoever runs the tool, will just run it after cleaning. The cost and trouble of trying to fix the headers, will most likely never happen. Sorry.
  2. David. Great Wall Hobby makes a P-61 that is Light Years better than the Aurora/Monogram/Revell kit. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/great-wall-hobby-l4810-northrop-p-61b-black-widow--172248 https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/builds/gwh/build_gwh_4810.shtml But, so far you are doing well.
  3. Better to drill holes than weld, I suppose. Remember, back then Running boards were surplus trash, discarded by every body building a Fenderless Rod.
  4. Wow, I like this. Your work is Superb! Is it an English Ford of Some Kind?
  5. I love the Pink! It looks so 'typical' of certain cars I used to see. And I have to say, I think the Seat/Stickers move on both of your parts is very Cool! Your Son, has a good idea.
  6. Your Engine Finishing skills are First Rate. It looks very sharp.
  7. I've seen brackets bolted to the Running Boards, and then U-Bolts run through the brackets. I think what you have done is just fine. Don't sweat it!
  8. Looking Very Good! Sorry about the finish failing on you.
  9. "snort, Nosey-Grindstone, snarl.."
  10. Row the Groses, those Grosey Groses of Success!
  11. I really like this build. Sharp Diorama also. Good Show.
  12. Depends. We get Crows and Ravens, both. I can't tell the difference, but my wife can. The Ravens get to be bigger than the crows, and I've seen some 14"-16" Ravens. Some Crows are almost that big. The Ones in Town are smaller than the ones out in the fields. (The Fields are never more than 10-15 miles from the center of town in Bakersfield)
  13. I love the Hoonigoat, Stef! Could you share more photos of it, please. And to get back on trak. I strongly dislike almost all modern wheels, regardless of who styled them or who makes them. There is a bland sameness to almost all the performance cars. Too Much Wind Tunnel, and Too Much C.A.D. in my opinion. I suspect that most Car Companies now expect that the "Real" enthusiast for their brand will simply chose expensive aftermarket add ons to improve the looks and / or performance of the car, and the "Drive-it-off-the-Lot" folks can just settle for the way the factory built it...... It seem to have been this way now for a long time, but more noticeable in the last 10-15 years. (at least to me).
  14. Phirewriter. You sure get better wildlife than I do. I get only Scrub Jays, Mourning Doves, Feral Cats and the odd Crow.
  15. Drat! Your Build inspired me to purchase a '57 T-bird of my own. I cannot build to your standard, but I will do my best on it.
  16. That engine bay and Motor look great! the Wiring is really nice.
  17. Very Nice! I like the Pipes!
  18. We leave out lots of Peanuts, for him.
  19. Miniature Displacement Engines, many with Turbos, running at high RPMS in a High Temp environment being asked to do the work a much larger and less stressed engine used to do, are blowing up/failing. Who Could have guessed that this would happen? Not the Brain Trusts at the Big Two, that;s for sure. I'm sure that the engineers who really designed these motors (to impossible Corporate Specifications), are doing the best they can. But, Penny Pinching and Short Term Thinking are destroying the Automobile Companies. And as collateral damage they are taking everything else with them. Boeing comes to mind. The entire country is suffering a crisis of Competence, in both Manufacturing and Building. It is easy for anybody who works with their hands to see, but somewhat harder for the rest of the public who never use a wrench or screwdriver to see. I won't say we are doomed. We are not. But, we as a society will see continuing failures of both large and small technologies, until we go back to valuing the older, sturdier values. Technology is a servant, not a master.
  20. Our Resident California Scrub Jay, has a Beak like this one. He's been in our yard for over 5 years now. We call him "Mr. Beak". He is mated, and we used to see Mrs. Beak, but I have not seen her in a while.
  21. After 15 Months living with the Rottie, My wife and I have decided that a Rottweiler is not a Pet, it is a Lifestyle! Everything has to change when you own one. We have had dogs now for 30 years, but there is nothing like a Rottie . Don't get me wrong, we love her (perhaps more than any other dogs we have owned), but she is a completely different kind of pet. More Demanding, More Energetic, and More Loving, than any dog we have every known. So far, she is a great dog.
  22. Matt, you are a True Artiste! That is "Grade A" modeling right there. Good Show.
  23. You've done a Fabulous Job, on this build!
  24. Great Mack Truck build! The Blue is nice.
