  1. Thanks, Dave. Coming from you, I'll take that as the Final Word on the subject.
  2. I've wanted both the '65 & '68 GTO's Just haven't found room in the budget for them. I see no problem with then being curbside.
  3. How is the Coronet Hardtop selling. Is it slow moving, also?
  4. Yes, Yes, Yes!! Revell has 80-90% of the tooling.
  5. My '72 Valiant, was Blue over Blue.
  6. So, I need to sand the primer? Finest paper I have is 800 grit. I'll need to see in Michaels or Hobby Lobby has some 1200 or 2400. Thanks.
  7. It's coming, Mikos, It's coming. Steve has said that there have been some minor delays, but work is continuing on it. It'll get here, and then we can plan a group build of the kit.
  8. Very, Very Nice! Moonshine Runner to racer in one easy step. Good Show.
  9. Beautiful old Chrysler! I really like the older cars built as Racers. You've done a great job! Good Show.
  10. Oh, it's a Roller coaster ride alright. Mine are 40,38 & 30. All are married, employed and pleasant to be around. You cannot ask for more than that. But, it took a lot of work to get there. Wanting to do you best is the key. There are no perfect answers, and baby books and online experts are never there at 3am when the Baby does something that the book says nothing about. My Advice? Trust your instincts. You will get to know 'your' baby pretty quickly. If you think something is wrong, don't spend hours second-guessing your self. Get the baby looked at. And remember. Our Grandmothers, had few of today's resources, yet they raised your parents. Lastly, You'll do fine! It is both the Hardest & Easiest thing you'll ever do. Only thing Harder? IMHO, staying married.
  11. Jerry, the Blue in front can be lighter and darker, or Bigger and smaller. Mine has a pale, and small patch, compared to most.
  12. Engine enamel primer, with ceramic DE 1612, is the Bar code. He's been using to prime 1/48 scale Modern US Jet Fighters. His paint jobs look very good but he is a Master of the Air Brush.
  13. Wow, these pictures show exactly how you get some of your realistic results. Thank you for taking the time not only to take the photos, but to circle the flaws you find and mention the fix. Doing so shows you are a True Modeler, and Gentleman as well. Thanks for Sharing. I hope all goes well with the Baby too. It can be nerve wracking. I remember my first, 30 years ago.
  14. Not, to pick a fight, but a Buddy just gave a can of Dupli-color primer. I've never used primer before on my paint jobs, but spraying Coloured paint straight from the can they look awful. So my Buddy gave me this can to try. He tells me that I will really like it. Since this is a highly emotional topic with some, are there any hints any body wants to share on how I should use the spray. I do not own and Airbrush, so decanting is out.
  15. Greg, your experience, and millions of others like it, will eventually spell the end of Amazon, Temu and the like, if management does don't control bad things like this. So, far, everyone seems to be making money, but I hear more and more grumbling about fouled up orders and extra charges. It is enough to limit what a person buys online. And, when money gets tight, it is easy to limit purchases of the "fun Stuff" that makes up much of the Online Business world. In Short, they need to police their sellers better, and stop the rip offs. It won't happen, but that is what they need to do.
  16. Very Nice Build. I really like the Colour you chose.
  17. What is that line from Raiders of the Lost Ark?? "Top Men!"
  18. This is not mine, but he looks just like this one. Same small blue front and everything.
  19. My Daughter is a High School English teacher. She had been at the school for a week, before the first students ever set foot on campus. Most schools have double checked everything before they see the students. That does not mean there won't be problems. Just means the staff is there and working hard, long before they see any kids. There are always small (or large) issues that crop up every year. Just the nature of the beast.
  20. When I was working at the Acura Dealer in the 1990's we used to have jokes about replacing the "Steering Wheel Actuator", but with self driving cars there probably really is a steering wheel actuator......? The Older Techs I worked with on Antique Cars, groused about the "Loose Nut" behind the wheel.
  21. Other than the Cheesy Wheels, I really like that Monaco.
  22. I thought Norm Veber of Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland did some. Anybody remember seeing them?
  23. Man, Tim! You can sure Detail a Funny Car Chassis! Those are both so clear & sharp.
  24. AMT '37 Chevy Coupe has one. The Blower Hat is garbage, but the rest of the Engine is nice. Monograms, 1/24 '39 Chevy Sedan, has a really sharp blown 427. The AMT Super Boss Chevelle has one. Here is the kit now.
