STOP,if ur building a 1/2;th scale car.Do not order these little NOS tank key chains.I mean don't get me wrong, they are very cool key chains. But they are much to big,and will fit perfectly in a 1/18th scale car,but definitely not a smaller scale.Oh well.I bought a few,I'll keep a couple, and give out the rest away to friends.Im still searching for the most realistic NOS blue bottles. In fact if anyone has some NOS bottles,I would be interested in buying,or trading them.Right now,I'm building a Pro Mod 71Duster.I was going to use the tanks for that car.Anyway, let me know. Thanks

Hey guys...relax,it's just my opinion.?I just think the body mold is pretty cheesy. And there isn't enough detailing in the engine, and suspension..Ok,there u go.Again,it's just my personal view on the kit. -
Great job.The F40 is by far,the greatest Ferrari, ever made.At least in my opinion..You did an excellent job turning some little nothing small scaled, snap together model, into a detailed, and well painted one. Thanks for sharing your pix with us.

Cool, thanks for the review.I ordered one on line.Looking forward to getting it.I think I'm going to try and make it into either a pro street car,or maybe a track car.- 13 replies

Your headers are wild. They look great.I love how every other drag,or Prostreet cars, have those side exhaust holes up front.Ive been trying to build a set of mine own. -

Wow,you have put some really nice work in this whole diorama.I love it.I built a few race engine shops.I can stare at the pics for hours. -
Wow,very cool look. And I remember watching that show with that dumpy trailer.I had a buddy of mine who used to live in one just like that.Whatta dUmP!!!?But I really like the detailing that u did.Again, fantastic job.

Darryl,I've seen all these cars in the past on a lot of different photo lists.....But I never get sick of looking at them.Your builds are some of my favorites on this,or any other model car website.I especially like the blue "camo"Christine"Plymouth,as well as the purple Duster. Both, are outstanding cars.Ur extremely talented.Just keep on building them, and I'll keep on enjoying them. Thanks.

Just an FYI,I stopped working on this Pinto Wagon drag car,I was putting this model together,slowly..Then My mother passed away, and I lost all interest in building. But,I never finished the car,and know it's a crushed, and dusty model, broken and in the garbage..Ha..It would've been a cool car,I think.I guess,I'm going to find one, just like the 1:1.

A great, but odd looking car.You did an excellent job on yours.
-
Excellent job.I like the different look with the black wheels.
-
Very nice build. My favorite Nova years, are the 66,and the 67.They were great looking cars.
-
Love the car,and the model.Great job.The 71Duster is by far,one of my favorite Mopars.Curious, what the color is.Is it Hemi Orange,or Vitamin C Orange?
-
Great model.I built a million of these cool pro street, tubbed 67 Chevelles.I like yours, with the BRIGHT green paint, and the black out look.Very nice job.

Have a friend of mine who used to run a Gremlin down the 1/4 mile.He only had a Chevy small block. He said it was the most difficult car he's ever attempted to get down the strip. The short wheel base had the car dancing all over the place.I really like your build.Gremlins are cool cars now.I love em.Now we are seeing them at car shows.Either custom/drag,pro street,or bone stock. And then there is the Holy grail of Gremlins, the Gremlin X.I think they had 360s,or 301s.I can't recall,I just know the car had a V8.Ah AMC.

Very cool car..I always loved those Greenwood packages I used to see on Vettes, from the 80s,and up.I thought it gave the car exactly the low, race car inspired stance it needed.Ground effects were cool, and I still like them.Although, you never see cars with ground effects...Actually,now,we don't even call it ground effects, but rather,a "wide body" kit.Greenwood made all kinds of kits for all kinds of cars.I had an 89,all white Lincoln Mark 7,with the white BBS wheels, with no chrome at all.I had a Greenwood ground effects package on the car. This is several years ago,but I still wish I had that car back today. The car looked hot??

Jeepxj replied to tyrone's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I was having some trouble seeing all your new pics of your Mustang. And trouble reading the post.Do you know when the car will be done?Love to see it finished, and I don't recall if you ever wrote what color it will be. Thanks, very nice model. -
So again,I have been trying to either make,or buy the right looking NOS bottles.Well I found these little pill holder, key chains on line. The come in a bunch of shinny colors....All you gotta do,is cut the chain off.And use them in your drag cars..They appear to be around 1/24-25th scale size.Plus, they very cheap, under $5.

Jeepxj replied to tyrone's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I just had to comment on this car again. It is absolutely incredible. You have an enormous amount of talent sir.I hope you don't mind, but I have used a lot of your ideas in my own drag cars.Drag cars being the only thing I really build. But your work is really wild.Congrats. Thanks
