  1. As a metal fabricator, I would assuming there will be a 4 to 6 months learning curve for the new owner. The main issue is there is an existing product and there is a hundred ways to skin that cat. How I see a project might be completely different than how someone else sees it and Jim can only explain what he does. Im sure if Jim was able to right down every step and back up step to everything, it would take the new owner a year just to read it lol
  2. Look'n good bro
  3. And I also apology for being a toilet plunger.
  4. Im sorry about your horrendous loss, as I know exactly how that feels. I also design and fabricate remote control drag cars and have completely lost a car on its first hard pull. I hope you are able to salvage something from it, but I think I know where your mindset might be about it, as I prefer to bury projects in that type of situation.
  5. Absolutely no disappointment here !!!! Very well planned out and executed !
  6. I just wanted to let you all know, that this project has no been forgotten. I have a rc drag racing national event coming up the first week of October, and thats where my priority is at the moment. Ill get back on this after that. Thanks for looking Clutch

  9. Ohhhhhh yeeeeaaahhhhhh!!!!!!
  10. As much as Im a car guy, I dont think I could dish out that much cash for a car. Im sure that amount wasnt even a notch in the new owners bank account though.
  11. Nice start. Are those early 80s Malibu tail lights?
  12. There is a Ferrari under all that? Following.....
  13. Good luck! I know this will take some time to get everything set up where you want it.
  14. Also, I've been doing research on the body lines, and this kit is lacking on them, especially the crisp peak line above the wheel openings that runs from front to rear.I'm not sure if I have the talent and patience to add that. My only thought on how to do it is to draw the body line on the car, temporarily glue a thin straight edge just below the line using it as a guide and fill the top with body filler. Sand sand and sand some more til it's flush with the straight edge. Remove the straight edge and then fill the bottom side with filler and sand it all smooth. Does anyone have another idea? Thanks
  15. And if you are interested in seeing what a 36" tire would look like under a Charger......
  16. Very nice work
  17. I'm not sure if I should be pissed off at the forum or my phone, because I spent an hour writting up a update, only for it to spaz out of me, so here is the short version..... I made wheelwell fixtures, I'm making the wells in two pieces. Thanks for looking.
  18. Very cool. That color is awesome
  19. LOL! It doesn't look bad thus way either. It went from the drunk robot from Futurama to C3PO, so the look didn't change too much
