  1. That's really nice! The top end detail is outstanding. Maybe someday....
  2. They both look awesome. I love the paint detail on the dash.
  3. This was at the local show today. Looked like the real deal. It was pretty cool. Anyone want to try replicating it? (Lots of pics.)
  4. How about Tamiya gold leaf, X 12. I don't know if it's available as a spray. Here it is on a 442 oil pan.
  5. I'm in Westchester county NY. The wood smell, orange sunshine and the wind. They said without the smoke cover, today would have been 10 degrees higher, ( it was 67.) It's like "The Day the Earth stood Still". You wonder if this is wht it will be like if global warming can't Be reversed. Last I heard there were about 400 wildfires in Canada with only about half of them under control. Scary.
  6. That's a nice ride. Great pictures too.
  7. Wow...... that looks beautiful. Clean build with great attention to detail.
  8. Vacationing in Hilton Head Island. Here's a few I was able to get pictures of. The red vee-dub made it down from Vermont, quite impressive. The pickup was doing dity at a welcome center, and slowly returning from where it came. And the thing..... well. Its just a thing i saw. Also saw what looked like a 58-59 XK 150 Jaguar. Couldn't get my phone out quick enough. Beautiful car.f
  9. Passenger car bench seats with the arm rest that pulled out from the seatback.
  10. My daily ride is a 2012 Subaru Legacy with a 6 speed manual. I live in New York. Closest manual was in Massachusetts. I insisted, so they brought it down to me. AWD & 6 speed = fun, even in a subie.
  11. Nicely done. Interesting color choice, it looks good. Any engine/interior pics?
  12. Like others have said, great looking model. Clean build & nice photography. You should take before and after pics of your hobby room. It would be fun for us to see what you did, and may give us some ideas as well.
  13. An old build.
  14. Lookin' good Zippi, nice ride.

Nice build, its held up well over the years. The graphics are really cool, and the color combo is perfect. I'd like to see this kit released again.

  17. Thank you everyone!
  18. Don't know how I missed this. It looks great. Perfect colors. I know the BMF wasn't easy, I did the same on a 53 Hudson. You did a nice job on it. Cruzin time.
  19. I like this. Nice idea. You gotta do the diorama. Well done.
  20. Finished this last week. A fun build with no issues. I always dred mating the chassis to the body, but one went together easy. OOB expect I swapped the tires for taller ones from the 59 Eldorado kit. Outboard mirror was broken, it was replaced with a parts box piece. Paint is plastikote ford Cayman green. A while back someone posted their woody and said they used humbrol sand for the lighter wood. I did the same. So, thanks for the tip. Hope you like. Comments, critiques welcome
