  1. It is only my fondest wish in the whole entire world that you bring this to DSC in whatever form or state of readiness it may be in. I think I'll double up on my blood pressure meds.
  2. Wow Pat!! That is a red Tumbler. Were you going for a Ferrari look there? Whatever it is, it works for me.
  3. All I can say is, if Dave's blown away, just think how the rest of us feel.
  4. I got mine from Micro-Mark. Have to say I was disappointed with the way the plastic flaps fit. I ended up breaking one trying to GENTLY force it into place. Here's my solution. The only question raised when I first showed this on another thread was my choice of a plastic tub for the booth, due to static charge. The solution is to wipe down the inside before each use with an old dryer sheet.
  5. Family always comes first in my book. I look forward to the day we do meet.
  6. I was sporting my shades as promised and you did not disappoint Brother.
  7. Sweet Randy. You don't often see modeler's using nanotechnology. But that's only because it's not possible yet. My question is, since it's not possible, how did you do it?
  8. A little genius, a little luck. I love it when a plan comes together.
  9. I did some lighting on a long lost starship using Voodoo FX. Good stuff. You'll be happy when you throw the switch. Nice subject too Art.
  10. I've been hiding in plain sight. Very few have managed to find me.
  11. There's a build to be proud of Ray. Can't wait to see it at DSC. You will be there, won't you?
  12. HEY!!!! No fair!!! Everybody already said what I wanted to say, Have I told you you're bringing a cannon to a gunfight? Or that you're making all of the other model builders jealous? Let's just leave it at knee bending reverence for now. Build on my friend, build on.
  13. I'll know to have my sunglasses on for the next update. That's wicked pretty Bro.
  14. I thought I was checking here more often, but apparently not. Sorry, my bad. Love, love, love what you did on the drive shaft. The decal is a nice touch too. Only because I am retentive beyond control or belief, I would move it so it's not obscured by the cross member. Again, just me. I'd still give it a check mark on my judging sheet. The helmet is a true thing of beauty Richard. Again, another check mark for adding the visor. Finally, what Gene said. COLOR!!!!!!!!
  15. The above post has an error in it I can't fix. I did not quote John, I quoted Danno. I am so NOT a fan of this new format for editing and picture posting. Sigh........
  16. Pull back on the reins there Buckaroo!! I may misappropriate some of John's techniques and ideas as my evil plans develop. However, I have a strict policy of hands off his womenses and NEVER borrow more Minions than he would notice. I'm going to experiment with some camo decals tonite and see what kinds of results I get. I may have to shoot some individual parts like the roof, due to creases even decal set will have a hard time with.. I'll let y'all know how it comes out.
  17. Another outrageous project from the King Cobra. That's uber schweet Ray. Always love me some blue stripes.
  18. Thank you Mike. I'm having a blast on this kit. Thank You My Brother. Having it at DSC is the plan. I can't wait for The Gang to get back together.
  19. Quickie update with the fire extinguisher done and in place. I think it looks good enough for the girls that John Teresi goes with. I've noticed that the cockpit rear wall looks suspiciously Bat Shaped. I may just have to alter / elongate the symbol below to cover the 3 tab holes. Thoughts? Thanx for looking. Enjoy the pics.
  20. Personally, last week was a disaster. Having said that, next week isn't going to be any better. All the more reason to get something done here. Working on the rear section for fitment. I used some more of the foil on the jet to cover the seams. I'll add braided hoses from the tanks. Also about ready to install the fire extinguisher. Sorry for the bad close up. I found a Bat Symbol decal from a PL 60's Batmobile. I'll shoot for better pic when it's installed.
  21. Well done indeed. Love the lights, cockpit, paint, dio. The whole Batshebang.
  22. Nice stuff there sir. Paper tape is like BMF for the interior. And the roof. And under the hood. And in the trunk. And for wrapping parachutes.
  23. This is what separates the Men from the Minions. I blame the Minions for distracting you due to unnecessary supervision. In my mind, you went to the frig to get the hardener, saw the beer next to it, thought about the grief your Minions were causing you and decided the beer was a better idea. But here's the real deal. You are the King of perseverance. per·se·vereˌpərsəˈvir/verb continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success."his family persevered with his treatment"synonyms:persist, continue, carry on, go on, keep on, keep going, struggle on,hammer away, be persistent, be determined, see/follow something through, keep at it, press on/ahead, not take no for an answer, be tenacious, stand one's ground, stand fast/firm, hold on, go the distance, stay the course, plod on, stop at nothing, leave no stone unturned; Or, as Larry the Cable Guy would say, "Git 'er done!!!!!!!"
  24. Thanks again Bruce. Took the day off to reflect and celebrate. Or, I wanted to make sure the paint on the extinguisher was dry before I attach the parts to it.
