  1. I really like the concept, and it is a great build too, almost unreal how shiny the paint is.
  2. I am "shaky Jake" myself so I know how it is, but I don't see anything wrong with the model, it looks great.
  3. The hat looks quite flammable.
  4. Anyone noticing the resemblances between an early Valiant and the Raceabout?
  5. Nice work on the woodgrain.
  6. Interesting, indeed.
  7. I like this generation Dart, so I hope it's a good kit too.....
  8. I decided to try using 1937 pickup louvers on the hood sides, one of the best parts with building a hot rod is after all that you can do whatever you want, even if I still prefer the look of the stock 34 hood sides....
  9. Exactly. But I have actually thought about some kind of camper for my 1:1 Nissan/Datsun 720 King Cab....But probably not this large, and I think that I will keep the 2,5 litre diesel....lol.
  10. Hmmm, now that was some interesting info actually.....
  11. Can you scale it up to 1:1 then, it would be a dream truck for me.... ?
  12. Some years ago I saw this beautiful 34 and my first thought was that I had to build something similar. A carbon copy is not what I am aiming for, but rather a model inspired by this car. Unfortunately, the Thom Taylor version of the Monogram convertible is all that I have, not the best starting point but I still think that it is possible to save it. The hardest part seems to be to find some hood sides from an earlier version, I really don't like the ones in the kit and want some stock louvers.... But they appear to be rare in Sweden. I'm in the stage of collecting parts and planning now but since my builders block went away, I probably start very soon anyway.
  13. Transforming a F-Escort into something cool is not the easiest task but I think you have succeeded here.
  14. Wow, very cool, to me the second generation Jeepster is kind of an ugly duckling among Jeeps, but the oversized tyres transformed it into something very cool.
  15. You captured the look of a workhorse very well, nice.
  16. Nice way to honour your brother, I bet he would be proud.
  17. Wow, very cool concept and nice execution of it.
  18. Great job in making all the different materials look real, way more than just paint and chrome on a build like this....
  19. Smooth and clean build, really nice finish on the paint, beautiful interior, this is a top notch build indeed.
  20. I don't think that I have seen a cream Camino before, and when looking at this, I wonder why, I really like the combination. Were you replicating some factory colour or did you just pick one that you liked?
  21. Even though the XJ is one of the boxiest vehicles ever built, it goes much more than just flat styrene sheets into a scratch build like this, impressive work.
  22. I'm a huge fan of all the punk genres and maybe especially the dieselpunk era, this truck pulls off the concept very well, I can almost write some kind of script in my head for a movie starring this one when looking at it... Like, something cobbled together on a farm to fight some kind of threat..... Great job.
