  1. Very cool, I love oddball builds like this.
  2. Just brilliant..... I was very satisfied with my 48 and thought it was my best build ever, but boy does it pale compared to this masterpiece......
  3. This will break the tape, I'm sure...
  4. Haha, great concept, well executed!
  5. Not a car one will see being built up very often, I will be watching with interest.
  6. Looking slick, nice decal- and paintwork.
  7. Sharp looking wheels!
  8. This is just amazing, especially the engine, the sharp line between the worn out, filthy junker and the factory fresh engine is just amazing. Nice concept.
  9. Nice and clean, I must say that I like the interiors of this era, often many exciting colours while everything today is grey or black....
  10. Thank you for the tip. Since this is a metal axle curbside, it will probably be an easy fix, just some drilling involved.
  11. The contents in the cup is worthless if the lid is glued shut..... ?
  12. Exactly, you got it right. Your bag won't survive my paper shredder.
  13. In Sweden, Treo is a brand of painkillers. Maybe I need some Treos for the headache I got from looking at this.
  14. I hope this is OK since I have seen another games in the offtopic section? I remember a fun forum game on a forum I used to visit years ago. It was a bit like rock, paper, scissors going nuts. As we know, rock takes scissors takes paper takes rock... But here it was about posting a picture of something, could be whatever you wanted, that won over what was posted in the post above, and an explanation about why it would win. For example, I start with posting a picture of a rock... Next person posts a paper bag. Next person posts matches to set fire on the paper bag Next person posts a firetruck to put out the fire.... Next person posts a spike strip that gives the firetruck flat tyres.... You get the concept? It went totally hilarious after a while... So, let's start then? Rock.
  15. Stock seats were far from inspiring, so I took some Golf VR6 seats but replaced the headrests with the Audi headrests to make it look more like Audi sports seats.
  16. I didn't like the stock rear wing so I replaced it with a slightly modified Mazda RX7 wing. Wheels painted in yellow pearl to match the paint the body will get later.
  17. Thread is 4 years old but recently lifted...any progress?
  18. Funny, because I planned to paint match the wheels here too, with the same detailing in chrome. Though this one will not be black...
  19. I like oddballs. Chargers and Corvettes may be nice cars, but when everyone and his mother is building them, I rather start with something different, so when I find oddball kits, I can't resist the urge to buy them. I can't really say anything positive about the Audi 80 though. It is boring and, IMO, ugly. So when I bought this one, I started to wonder "Why? What have I done?". Until it was like if the lightning struck me. Let's make it into something that could have been seen in the euro tuner scene in the early 90s. Wheels with a period correct look was found in the AMT Ford Courier. I remember different forms of star shaped wheels was the rage back then (before everyone started running the hideous 3-spokes), and I have always liked them. Though they will not stay in chrome.....
  20. Interesting project, following.....
  21. Very clean and great looking.
