Those rear wheels appear to be true "reversed" rims the way they were done in the 50's and 60's. Which kit did you source them from?

Definitely an interesting concept. I remember a few years back a real 1:1 dragcar builder used three 351 Cleveland heads to make a head for his six-cylinder powered car. He cut the front two chambers off one, the middle two from another, and the rear two from another. He used some form of exotic pressure-brazing concept to put them all together and bolted it to a big-bore Ford 6 cylinder. Can't remember induction used, but supposedly it worked pretty well. That being said - why not an Ardun 4 cylinder.

Cool little car, very classic lines. Just looking at it with the fenders would make a neat gasser and without an awesome AA/altered. Looking forward to the finished project.

Some super nice detail work on one of FoMoCo's finest bodies. Just wondering if you are going to do anything about the mold lines on the front bumper.

Excellent build, everything just looks right about it. I am sitting here drooling over what I could do with something like that if I could find one in a barn.

Excellent work on these builds. As said earlier this style funny car are my favorites, you could actually compare their looks to a 1:1. Nice paint work on all three.

When were drag chutes first used on drag cars? I know the supposed max speed allowed without one is <150 mph. But how many cars went through the catch fence before they discovered the braking power of the drag chute?

Really nice-looking long-roof. That is an engine bay full of horsepower. Very clean build.

Us old USAF vets have a permanent coffee cup molded to our hand, much like the teens today with their cell phones.

Looking forward to updates on this Gasser, one of my favorite classes of drag racers. I was fortunate enough to witness the Gasser Wars of the late 60's, really awesome. Also like to see different builds for Gassers, too many Willys and Tri-five Chevys. When you get that Rambler done, give me a call and I will bring mine out to run you, of course I will need a bit of a head start, since mine is carbureted.

Personally, I would not recommend this option. When my father built the house I am living in, he put outdoor carpet on both outside porches. Now admitted that was 55 years ago, but it didn't take too many years before the weather took its toll on the carpet. And since it is glued down, they did not use Testor's orange tube, it is a real bear to get up. When I enclosed the front porch I tried to pull it up, gave up on that rather quickly. Instead laid down a layer of 3/8" plywood and some laminated flooring.

Great looking Gasser, love the '40 front-end doesn't matter the rest of the body. You are doing some mighty fine work on this build. A suggestion I would like to make is to ditch the steel axle in the front-end, if you do not want a roller. What I do is install it as the kit suggests, then I super glue around where the axle comes through the backing plate. Once cured I carefully snip the axle off at each backing plate, I have gone so far as to file the cut end away. Once painted it is not noticeable. Keeping the axle in place will allow the wheels to have the correct stance until the glue is dried. Just a thought.

Great work on Ford's second-best designed car, the 40 Coupe being #1. Stance looks just right. Bring on some more updates.

Turning into a real kick-a$$ modified.

Now that is one fine paint job, if it got any slicker it wouldn't stay on the car. Going to be one wicked powerplant, should move that brick down the road fairly well.

My last three-on-the-tree was my first 65 Chevelle Malibu, 283 4bbl, manual everything. Traded it for an identical colored 65 Malibu Super Sport with 283 4bbl 4 Speed.

A couple of really nice-looking vans. Also, would like to find a kit of one of these. Anyone out there in the 3D world ever think of printing one of these, keep me in mind. Owned one of the extended vans for a few years. Originally bought because the wife wanted it, but when I bought my new '99 Taurus the van became my car. Worked out well. I was in seminary and drove a school bus in a neighboring county. Instead of driving the 30 miles one-way home between runs I would go find a shady spot, sit in the van and study, or go over to Wake Forest University and use their library, or go into town looking around. Could lay the middle seat down, eat my Igloo lunch and use the seat back as a desk. A cover placed over the rear seat back and the middle seat back would create a fairly dark place to take a nap. Was napping one late spring morning and had the windows opened for a breeze. Heard some boys talking and noticed a hand sliding in the window toward the door handle. I couldn't reach the hand, but I did kick the door panel. When I raised up all I saw was posterior orifices and elbows running across the parking lot.

Had a pretty good sale day at the Model Car Builders of NC, SC and Virginia Model Contest/Swap Meet in Winston Salem, North Carolina yesterday. But as always I had to pick up a few items. First was the 47/48 Chevy coupe Moebius repop, a set of 3D printed slicks with Cragar mags and dragster wires, a 3D printed toolbox to fit a stepside pickup (upcoming project), and a older resin 1960 2dr Ford Galaxie post-sedan. Won the Dodge Coronet w/trailer in the raffle. Got a chance to make one really quick run around the tables, some mighty fine work there. Looking forward to the next one.

It may sound crazy but check out some of the diecast tractors and small-scale monster trucks in the toy section of Walmart or Tractor Supply. I bought a Hot Wheels type monster truck to get the pulling tires for a build I am working on.
