Kind of reminds me of the Rivian (sp) Cybertruck. Wonder if Elon might own a copy of this thing?

As the others have said, this is a piece of fine art. After looking at the pictures of the 1:1 cab area, I am wondering if you are going to model the cobweb running from the monitor to the base. Just kidding, I am truly amazed at the detail you are putting into this build.

Very nice build. The 57 Wagons made good business sales cars. My Dad had one he bought used and it had stickers for Baby Ruth and Butterfinger candies on the bumper.

Don't know if I would want to be riding around in a snowstorm with the top down. However, that is one really good-looking build. Very nice overall look, especially like the headlights. One to be proud of.

Saw this reproduction run at my local dragstrip in 2022 and again at another drag strip in 2023.

Excellent build, as the others have said that is a beautiful paint job. Interior is also outstanding, noticed the old pull handle emergency brake. If you pull them too hard they will sometimes break the cable or lock the brakes up, don't ask how I know.

The original issue Monogram 36 Ford Coupe/Convertible had a really nice set of wide-fives, although not really sure what they look like under the hubcaps.

I had a similar issue a few years ago. I was advised to make sure to filter my paint before putting it in the airbrush. One of the best filters available is women's nylon stockings. They are fairly cheap, or maybe your wife/girlfriend would give you some of her worn-out ones. All you do is put the stocking across the top of your paint jar, push it down inside a bit to form a sort of cup, put a rubber band around the top of the jar to hold it in place, then carefully pour your thinned paint into it. You don't need to cut the stockings, that will cause them to unravel. Hope this helps.

Some impressive work on that section job and the A pillar work. These older box-shaped cars just scream to be sectioned. On most of them the key to an easy, clean section is to section the section line just as you did. I did the same on a 50 Ford convertible I am working on. Looking forward to updates.

I cringe when I see what appears to have been a perfectly good '56 Chevy Wagon mutilated in such a way. The only two Chevrolets I really appreciate are the '56 (any body style) and the 65 Chevelle SS, I've owned both and kick myself for letting them go.

No, one is just fine. I have a 61 Ford custom I am building with a futuristic flare and I think the turbine wheels would look good on it.

Looking for a set of 1/25 scale turbine blade style wheels. Most of the ones I had over the years I discarded, now I find I need a set for a custom I am building. Lots of trade fodder, let me know.

Sweet looking Shoebox, really like the way you worked the Nova roof onto the Ford body. Smooth, blue paint one of my favorite shades of blue.

Passed a white Mclaren on my way home this afternoon. It was getting a bit hazy, thought at first it was a Vette until I got close enough to read the nameplate between the taillights. Don't see a lot of those around here.

Ace, I wonder why you are questioning this. You know the accuracy of internet writers especially when it comes to cars. I see four squiggly things in the exhaust system, two are sort of shiny and the other two are sort of rusty looking, so there must be four turbos. Problem solved.

Thanks for sharing those. I remember a few of them from my cursory walk through after I shut down my vendor table. Really liked the Jack Ingram Chevelle, saw him race it at Hickory Speedway when it was new. One of my favorite short-track drivers.
