  1. Welcome to the forum Randal
  2. Very nice.
  3. Patience my friend! Lots and lots of patience. You have done a great job so far. I sometimes leave everything to cure for a couple of days before mating the chassis to the body and if it fights back for too long, then I walk away and take a long break before trying again.
  4. Welcome to the forum.
  5. A hemi in a Chevy, how dare you! Lol. I am a Chevy man myself, but correct me if I'm wrong, the hotrod movement came about because early gearheads were trying to improve the performance of their cars. Swapping in bits and pieces from various manufacturers was quite commonly done. I wonder how many die hard Chevy guys are running a ford 9 inch or dana rear end in their chevy's. I know that it is quite a common conversion in most high powered rear wheel drive cars here in South Africa. Like it says on my profile "Too much power is just enough!" and regardless of your brand loyalty you have to admit that hemi's make big power. The bottom line is that it's a great looking hotrod with a mean V8 motor in it. I don't particularly like the gassers look, but a good build is a good build. Very nicely done.
  6. Cool subject for a first build. The only advice I can offer, is take your time and treat each part as if it were a model on it's own. Check out the tips and tricks part of the forum. Lots of good tips and advice to be found here. Don't be afraid to ask for advice during your build, you'll find the members here to be very willing to share their knowledge and experience or offer their opinions when asked. Good luck and happy building.
  7. If there are any faults, I don't see them. Looks really sharp.
  8. Sensational build. Well done Shane.
  9. Looking good! I always liked the Martini livery on these cars.

  14. Welcome to the forum Matteo.
  15. Very good looking GTR.
  16. Looks good.
  17. This one has me stumped. Looks like a homemade truck made from assorted salvaged parts from several different manufacturers. Very interested to find out what it is and the history behind it.
  18. Welcome to the forum Nathan. Plenty to see and learn on here.
  19. Good colour choice. Looks great.
  20. Very nice.
  21. I like it, but then again I am a bit of a 60's Camaro fan. In all seriousness, very neat build.
