A hemi in a Chevy, how dare you! Lol. I am a Chevy man myself, but correct me if I'm wrong, the hotrod movement came about because early gearheads were trying to improve the performance of their cars. Swapping in bits and pieces from various manufacturers was quite commonly done. I wonder how many die hard Chevy guys are running a ford 9 inch or dana rear end in their chevy's. I know that it is quite a common conversion in most high powered rear wheel drive cars here in South Africa. Like it says on my profile "Too much power is just enough!" and regardless of your brand loyalty you have to admit that hemi's make big power. The bottom line is that it's a great looking hotrod with a mean V8 motor in it. I don't particularly like the gassers look, but a good build is a good build. Very nicely done.
