  1. Beautifully done replica! Nice work!
  2. Superb work on one of the best looking cars ever built, in my humble opinion!
  3. Here is the B815 with the detachable neck lowboy that is also occupying my workbench. Just have lots of detailing to do on that, but now that I am back to the bench, it's just a matter of time!
  4. FINALLY fought off a spell of builder's block, and actually got back to the bench. Got the wheels and rims from Mo'Luminum, the old Mark Savage resin tires, the modified Jim Etter MTFA cab, V8 engine and the chassis all in paint. Felt good to get back at it. Probably going to paint the fenders black and then lots of detailing to do.
  5. That is looking VERY nice! You can find a reasonable replica of the Ram Air tub for the 65 and 66 GTO in the later 72 MPC original GTO kits. Don't know if I still have any left but I will look. I made Vac-U-Form repops of them as that made them much more to scale thickness on the shell.
  6. Wow! Keep the updates coming!
  7. Tremendous build of my favorite brand, MACK! Awesome!
  8. Beautiful job on your car! And it's great that some people aren't offended by it. At least in Vermont it is still possible to find SOME of those open minded folks.............................for a while at least!
  9. Nicely done conversion! Great weathering too.
  10. The detail work is incredible..................................absolutely amazing! WOW!!!!!
  11. Love the trucks from down under. That KW is awesome, as is the rest of the build. Well Done!
  12. Do you have the date set for 2019 yet? Thanks!
  13. As always, Alain, that is superb work. If offered in a kit, I too, would be interested. C'est un travail de qualite magnifique!
  14. Looking great so far! That is a tough kit to get aligned straight, but looks right! Good work!
  15. Absolutely beautiful work!!!! WOW!
  16. I have one of Larry's..............nicely done, and the only game in town for a '73. Having owned a '73 GTO for 30 years, I can say, well done!
  17. Very nice work....................awesome paint too!
  18. Superb looking build! Love those 3000 Whites for sure! This one is from a rather crude Rick Manz slush casting, also on a Dodge chassis, with a scratchbuilt 6 cylinder White Mustang flathead six engine.
  19. Thanks Charlie, one day I will try it, as I have a couple of those weathering sets. I just have a hard time getting myself to go against the bodyman/painter in me and take something that I worked hard to make look new, and make it look used! Add to that the doubt in my own abilities, and it is just so much easier to leave it alone! But I will try it on a junker to see if I can manage it. (If you can't tell, I venture outside the box VERY seldom!) Thank you all for the great words about this build. It is probably the one time I HAVE ventured outside the box and actually gotten acceptable results, even to my most picky critic, me!
  20. Nicely done! I wonder how many people this thread influenced to getting a garbage truck kit to try doing one themselves? I can tell you one!
  21. Those are beautiful builds and a great layout! Scale is secondary to the subject matter, and yous is superb!
  22. That is superb work! Love those old Dodges.
  23. Not sure about the original factory decals, but modeltruckin makes superb decals that will work. Check them out: http://www.modeltruckin.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_143_24&products_id=769
  24. Looking great! Keep the updates coming!
  25. I have bought on eBay for almost 20 years.............but as time gets more precious and I find myself less able to sit at the keyboard with my finger hovering on the bid button, I now use bidnapper.com. I find that I can enter my bids whenever I see the item and simply put it out of mind. If I win, cool, if I don't, wait until the next time. And as long as my maximum bid is high enough, I win, and always at the last second, and almost always at considerably less than what I would have most likely paid against an active counter bidder. It is very efficient, and it allows me the freedom of not being tied to the computer at the end of the auction. That said, it is no where near as exciting as sitting there entering bids as the auction winds down, but it works for me!
