  1. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!...VERY klean too.....
  2. WOW!!!!!! -VERY nice!!!!!!!!, but, "that metallic flake is out of scale"....lol...just kidding!!…..Brilliant build, bud!!!!
  3. All my books and documentaries say it was, but then again, just recently someone went to an exotic car museum, and they said that the 350GT was the first Lamborghini....WRONG...it was the 350GTV.
  4. WOW!!!!!, and I thought my price was a deal!!!!!......nice job!! -I was not expecting this kit to be as nice, AND as detailed as it is......its THE best kit of this car out there -by far!!!!!
  5. I would too!!….they are EXCELLENT at updating them, but still leaving its beautiful look. FAST AS HELL!!!!!!
  6. Do you remember how much you paid for yours?!, if you find an unstarted one for sale, they usually start around $430....even the partially built ones can cost around $120. ALL klear parts should be sealed by themselves!!…..I was very fortunate that the windows in my kit were not damaged at all.
  7. I've never heard that, Marty, but what I read, is that Aston Martin gave them two DB-5's.
  8. Thanks, Shaun!, I sure will do it just like my Pagani!!
  9. I've built a few of those as well!!…..very nice kits, but the ride height is too high, I always lowered mine. Doyusha also makes a stock version of this kit.....it usually goes for the same price as the JB one too.
  10. That works pretty good too!, for my main building, I have an old pin-vise without the swivel end, that I use. I put a broken drill bit in it (backwards), and ground the tip at a sharp angle....works perfectly!. and like yours, you just scrape it klean!
  11. Glad to help, and yes, I just touch the tip on a drop of superglue.
  12. Thanks, bud!!
  13. The body parts are all kleaned, and air-drying, I will blow them off with canned air before I start the painting process tomorrow...
  14. I can relate for sure. I get burned-out on detail quickly, so typically I will do a full detail build, then two curbsides.....and I don't really care if its kit with a ton of great parts, rare, or whatever, I will glue the doors, and hoods down, especially if I've already fully detailed that engine before on another kit. For example; I already have a Countach V12 that is fully detailed......I don't need to do it again on my other Countach….curbside. I already have a fully detailed 426 Hemi in my GTX...….so my 70 Hemi 'cuda is getting its hood glued down with nothing but the block under it. You've seen one Hemi...….you've seen them all. Some will cry about this statement, but oh well, better get some tissues.
  15. Great photos!!!....this is gonna be GREAT!!!!
  16. Thanks, Chris!!, glad to help!
  17. Thanks, JC!!, its gonna be the Bond car!!!
  18. Hey everybody!, just wanted to give you a heads-up that I will be starting this very sought-after Airfix James Bond Aston Martin DB-5. Its going to be a fully detailed build....hope you will stop in to check it out!! -thanks, Dann
  19. Hey, Greg!, I don't know about anybody else, but quite often I will make things like this to make my building easier. I try to mask as much stuff as I can, but there will ALWAYS be a time that I have to hand paint/ detail something. I made this tool out of necessity for this Pagani, but its proving to be more useful than I originally thought. Its made of a styrene rod, and K&S spring steel. I needed something to accurately, and uniformly dd all the screws, and bolts in the interior, and after putting a comfortable angle on it, and grinding the end of it totally flat, it worked quite well as you can see. I ended up using it for knobs/ buttons on the steering wheel and dash as well. Its even REALLY great for micro applications of glue!, and you can scrape the end off as much as you need, without damaging the end, because its spring steel! I do have other sizes now that I know they work well. Thanks for the interest, I hope this helped!
  20. Thanks!!, i'm more than happy to help, it was my whole objective with this post.
  21. It really is a shame.
  22. Thanks, Jason!!, I actually wasn't sure it was going to work at first to be fair. The actual kolor i'm painting it is going to be; Duplicolor Pewter Metallic. and yes, a Konessieg would be great!
  23. I hear what you're saying, but like in my original comment, right...wrong...indifferent, for some reason, "plumbing" sounds REALLY STUPID to me. People haven't told me what to say, so I don't tell them what to say.
