  1. Thanx for all the input guys.......it definitely helps! -much appreciated!!
  2. I will definitely check this stuff out! -Thanx! -Do you know if this Extra thin has a use, or is it rubbish?
  3. I too just bought some after watching a utube builder named GDmodels using it. looked like it worked to me, but I needed your guys input before I try it out on clear parts. Thanx for the response
  4. Hi, I was wondering if Tamiya's Extra Thin cement was any good -could it also be used to attach clear parts? I recently watched some modelling videos on utube, and several different builders used it, but it seemed to not hold very quickly or well -the parts kept falling off as the assembled things. One builder even uses it for clear parts. It doesn't look like it "fogs" the clear parts, but things in person usually looks different than in videos. I currently use RC56 canopy glue for most of my clear parts, but if I can get a glue that dries really fast for my windows, that would be great. Any impute would be greatly appreciated!
  5. It really is a beautiful job on your lotus!, I will be hacking-up the heck of my Lotus to be able to turn it into a "one-piece" body -that rear bumper is a horrible pain all by itself! the last one I built doing the "one-piece" body, and it worked brilliantly, but it didn't survive. I plan on doing mine yellow with a multi-shade gray and knarlwood interior, AND a V8 engine -if we cant do it in modeling, then whats the point, right? By the way, the Fujimi Lotus Esprit may be curbside, but it is a fantastic kit!
  6. My wife got me a TON of JCR Offroad stuff -bumpers, safari rack, Hi-Lift, and so on, for my 1:1 Jeep Cherokee!
  7. Definitely a sweet Ferrari, and you did a great job building it!! I myself have quite a few Italeri kits, and despite they're shortcomings, I think they are great too. I know what it feels like to not have a model built in over a year too. I've been trying to get a Ferrari F40 in my collection for the past 18 months -it sucks. Glad you were able to get one done!, hope we will see more of your work soon!!
  8. Porsches are my favorite German cars, and I think you did an outstanding job on this!!!
  9. Love it!!! -Very clean build!!!
  10. Fantastically clean and detailed.......well done again!!!!
  11. VERY nice everything!!!! -luggage rack is great!!! -and those Porsche wheels look right at home!!
  12. Pretty sweet!!! -curbsides are a great way to get more models done while taking a break from crazy detail. I myself use to do all my builds with crazy detail, but now, I've mixed in a lot of curbsides, and it doesn't matter to me weather its rare, or has an engine to build or not -i'll glue the hood down. keep up the great work!!
  13. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!
  14. Super nice!!!! -love this car!!
  15. VERY nice work!!! -looks great in white too!! red is soooooooo overdone!
  16. Nice to see another one of your beautiful builds!! VERY realistic!!
  17. This is a beautiful build!!! -This isn't the only build of this kit that has that hood issue, wonder what it is? -I will definitely find out when I start mine.
  18. Love EVERYTHING about this build!!
  19. This is one of my favorite cars of all time! I really wish a better company would make a kit of this, or the V8 version. I built one of these about 20 years ago, and you are right -its a nightmare kit with great detail. mine didn't survive, so my wife found me another one at a time when they were difficult to find. I try to build cars that no one is posting at the time, so that there is more variety, but I think i'm going to abandon that concept, LOL. I have been digging into my Lotus kit too. You really did do a FANTASTIC job on this kit!!!!!!!! -Thanks for the motivation, and sharing this........this has to be one of my top three favorite builds I've seen since I joined this forum!!
  20. Always liked this car. You did a fantastic job on it!!!
  21. Looks almost too clean..........WOW.......VERY well done!!!!!
  22. VERY creative, and realistic!!!
  23. All that white and chrome looks REALLY good together!!
  24. You did this kit justice!! its a work of art!!
  25. Turned out fantastic considering what you went through!! -I have this kit too, and thought it looked like a nightmare to me, then again, I think most AMT kits are a nightmare.
