  2. and you didn't buy one ? and you didn't tell us what new kits were on the shelf.
  3. But where's it at ? Man, that's half way to Tucson. http://216 W. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282 480-968-1880
  4. If you click on the pictures you get the real thing. Well, a "redirect" anyway.
  5. Those pictures look squished. Wheels kinda tall and narrow Whole thing fat and chunky ? Or is it just me ?
  6. Where is this place of which you speak ? I'll bet they're clearing the shelves for all the new Revell stuff comin' out.
  7. ajwheels in this thread http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/large-scale-cars/50513-1-16-3d-printed-ardun-flathead.html talks about TDR http://www.tdrcatalog.com/servlet/StoreFront
  8. This is from whence it came : http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/large-scale-cars/50513-1-16-3d-printed-ardun-flathead.html
  9. The Tri-Five Chevys can't be beat popularity wise. But what can you do to them that you can't do to any BOP Tri-Five ? Oh Yeah, build a model of them.
  10. Reputation, expectations, marketing, past practices, modern communications, it's all in there.
  11. I think we've all experienced that feeling, however with the shrinking existence of the local hobby shop and the ever present big box i.e. Michaels, Hobby Lobby type stores whose inventory rarely changes, this feeling of euphoria is long gone. Now we depend on the hobby media with little or no investigative reporting or the never ending "insider" info from our "If I tell you, but I'll have to kill you" or the more prevalent, " I know, but I can't (wont) tell you" friends.
  12. But the gist of it is still, storage , up keep and insurance. Just as Nick pointed out.
  13. My neighbors cousins friend next door said he heard a guy on the bus say his kid worked with a guy that knew what the new kits were going to be but his mom told him his dad said he couldn't tell till he got his room cleaned up.
  14. Who would have thunk this wood turn in2 a math class ?

  16. Great build John thanks for sharing your wonderful build. Looks like museum quality from here. Wonder whats holding them from a reissue? I know I'm in for one.
  17. What have I missed? Oh yeah Danno's favorites all the great Charger kits MPC put out through the years in 1/16th scale.
  18. But wait , there's more , don't forget all the cool dragsters Revell has popped out through the years. lots of parts to bash
  19. and the sad chapter of this story (good luck on Ebay) the 1/16 scale 34' Fords from our friends at Revell, just one squirt, never been seen again.
  20. No coupe, but there's a couple roadsters , stock and hot rod. and a sedan and sedan delivery. A great Pick up. The detail on these kits is beyond belief, just great,
  21. Glad you brought this up., as many of are aging not so gracefully in the eye department and a larger scale is rea lly a step up ( did I really say that ? ) Yeah, yeah, I know, use a magnifier hood. There are really a bunch of cool kits out there in this scale. The new release Bull Horn T bucket from Lindberg comes to mind as well as a bunch of cool Model A Fords from Minicraft. I just got this one and a little kit bashing ?
