  1. I just got through watching my copy of Deuce of Spades yesterday and was wondering what you thought?
  2. This wouldn't be any different than the Deuce. You are correct in surmising the clearance issues with the Model A frame, it being a little narrower than the '32.
  3. In a word, simple. This one is long over due for a Retool. The body is fine, the rest? Flat ,molded in suspension chassis. One piece Interior tub with little or no detail.Funny car style headers and some other strange engine accessories.Sadly, the only game in town.
  4. I was out with the wife and heard the roar and thunder on a late eighties Camaro sitting at the light. Looking over I see an aggressive rake(front down) a fake bug catcher scoop coming up through the hood of course some 10-12 inch deeeep reversed rims out back with plenty of meat on 'em. Then the light turns and he pulls out showing me his yellow traction bars that go all the way to the front of the vehicle and I'm thinking what kind of Yahoo drives something like this? It was all nicely done, but there he was all decked out in his eighties garb. Oh yeah, he was my age (60's).
  5. I love it when a nice build comes together
  6. I have to agree:(
  7. That's wild. Better get a board to build on, or Mom will put a stop to this right now.
  8. So, what is it exactly you are looking for ?
  9. Head on down to Hobby Lobby, lots of prepainted metal kits will make any first time builder proud of their accomplishments. or if you can find some of the plastic prepainted kits.
  10. ???? More information please. Wheel sleeves??? No help of GoogleSummitt
  11. I have this kit, and almost all (a lot ) of the 250GTO books, and I can't find any reference to the side scoops on the rear brake ducts. I like the kit but OH BOY, it sure has it's inaccuracies, I.E. the roof line, the two nose cooling ducts and the aforementioned rear scoops. All in all it still builds up as a fun build with lots of working detail. Not to mention the fine job Bruce is doing. Can't wait to see this one finished.
  12. Winston, I agree, but I wonder what new cars would work? How many manufactures actually sell a rear wheel drive platform?
  13. "the coupes and convertibles were the most popular body types for 1:1 buyers" Yes they were
  14. .GOOGLE 1965 MUSTANG COUPE see what you get. What you are showing us is a "Sport" coupe the terminology of "Coupe" used for the "Notch back " is long excepted. Where as the "Sport" coupe has come to be known as the "Fastback"..
  15. I have one, a friend dropped it off one day. "Here, you have this one?"
  16. I think the model company's are missing some easy revenue. The easiest one I can think of would be how easy it would be for Monogram to convert their '65-'66 Convertable to a coupe..I wonder how many others there are out there?
  17. Super Boss Lawman Mustangs were sent to Viet Nam.
  18. "pretty heavy"not unlike a "Lead Sled" ?
  19. Non traditional color looks good.
  20. Nothing like a "mail slot" chop. Nice.
