Ah yes, Dry-rot I forgot. So it's damned if you do and if you don't. Although the old Monogram Rubber tires hold up.I just got some from Alan Raab of MA'S Resin and they look like they will hold up as well. Seem to be of the same material as the Monogram tires.
After receiving a great set of tires from Alan Raab of MA'S Resin made of rubber, I was wondering about this. Back in the day, Revell had several kits with rubber tires as well as the early Monogram kits.
That's my point, Wooden framing under the body not the chassis as some seem to believe here.None of the cars mentioned had wooden chassis frames.They did have wooden framing for the bodies.
Harry, did you read the article ? You're just promoting the urban legend " There's this car with a wooden frame." The frame they talk about is for the body just like a Model A Ford.Not a wooden chassis.
