Picked up a original that fell apart and need glass and exhaust.

I had a extra sedan delivery hood.

Caps are from a Revell 57 and rims I had in stock.

I done the same with the sedan delivery last month but the engine got three carbs.

Built it like I think Monogram should have at least made it optional,this one has the engine from the 53 hard top kit with the powerglide sawed off and the trans from the AMT 37 put on. I had a extra hood from the sedan delivery so I still have to find a hood ornament.

It also got a six.

It's a almost stock build and getting close to done,will have to come up with a hood ornament.

I picked it up built and used it for the engine for one of the 39s,it looked decent so I added some detail and put in the Pontiac engine from the 34 Ford coupe kit. Found some steelies and 57 hub caps and good enough for a quicky build with parts in stock.

Making some progress.

I found a seat.

No I did not find one and should have those AMT parts.

Got me a monogram 39 Chevy coupe to build and will be going for a more stock look and since it comes with 70s bucket seats I will need a bench seat,thinking the 42 Lincoln seat might work or any others from that era.

Found a started coupe but that one will have a stock six.

I picked one up so it's on,this one is also going to get a six.

I wish now that I would have made some inner fenders but will do that if I build the coupe version.

Just finished the sedan delivery and would like to build the coupe,it shows on the box as having no hood sides but I would build it more stock so is the hood missing the sides. I do have a extra sedan delivery hood if that is the way it comes.

It's done and I wish the engine I installed had come with the kit originally,it's from the Monogram 53 hardtop and the split exhaust manifold is from a 53 or 54 Corvette Monogram must have made.

Chassis is done and waiting on paint to dry on the rims.

This is the engine Monogram should have included in this kit,it's from the 53 hardtop kit with the exhaust manifold from the 53/54 Corvette kit.

Going to leave it in the green.

Found a complete unused body to use on this project.

I also have the convertible version that I will be building soon and might paint it in the same colors.

I have one missing parts but going to just get a new kit.

I looked through my parts and I have the seats from the 34 Ford pickup and they resemble the seats that were in my dad's 39 Plymouth sedan delivery so it will be them or a seat from the Monogram 41 Lincoln. The AMT 40 Ford sedan delivery comes with a bench seat but doubt it came with one from the factory,AMT probably did not want to mold a correct seat since not too many would know.

Looking on eBay answered that question,the coupe has bucket seats
