  1. I would like to use all vintage Monogram parts on this build.
  2. I will be working on the early 60s Monogram 34 Ford coupe/convertible.
  3. What engines did the Monogram 36s have,I really want to use vintage parts on this build. I was wanting to build it just from what came with it like a kid would do in the early 60s but I have seen too much but if I could find parts that were in other kits of that era then I could do that since kit bashing most likely happened back then.
  4. I have a unbuilt kit I want to build and would like to use only parts that came in that kit but want to build it before the OHV engines came out but none in that kit so is there any out there I can use.
  5. I built a 78ish Z28 I think came from Revell that was horrible.
  6. I am also thinking of putting a 4 speed in around a couple years after the swap the 221 tore up the original 3 speed so it got upgraded.
  7. I plan on building it as the 221 was swapped in right after they came out in 62 so I want it to look that era.
  8. I will have to find a junk Mustang body when I build it.
  9. I am going to see if I can build it having the oil fil in the timing chain cover,I grabbed those parts off a 260 in a junkyard to make a newer 302 look like a 260.
  10. I would like one that can be made stock and will have to substitute a generator for the alternator.
  11. I will definately get it,the last versipn I built came with some goofy 80s wheels that I had to change to some that looked appropriate.
  12. Thinking about building the Falcon Ranchero kit again and going to put in a more authentic engine,I thought I read a resin six was made but if I want to go with a V8 I would like to go with one that could be made to look like a 62 221 or a 63 260 so what kit had the best early smallblock.
  13. Thinking about building one again so does the latest versiom have the stock hub caps,I would like to build a stock looking one if possible
  14. I built the Revell 57 Nomad in the late 70s and when I started to rebuild it the plastic got brittle so I ended up using it for parts, even the frame broke.
  15. I am suprised that kit did not come with a six.
  16. Probably did not notice the date, sometimes I start to respond to older postings.
  17. Its been 40 years since I last built that kit and it was not too bad, even though my skills have improved I do not think I would try a older Revell 57 kit and a newer version if they are the same.
  18. Pictures do not show up automatically but can click on them and will appear and I can not post anything,I do have a ancient computer with a outdated operating system and way past due for a new computer so I have to use my phone.
  19. If it was not so far I would do both the spring and fall.
  20. A Rustoleum yellow.
  21. Its finished and tried to make it look like it had a 55 T bird engine installed in 55 and its nosed and decked.
  22. Starting to look like a car.
  23. A couple years ago I used the optional Olds engine from the 40 Ford sedan kit in a coupe that I had since 1974,I did not throw everything out but alot got tossed.
  24. I always have three or four builds going on so I have something to do when glue and paint are drying.
  25. I wish I never threw any out and now will not,I most likely damaged them taking them apart for a rebuild and thought I could never fix them but would try now.
